    My head is pickled with these Gordon Ramsey dinner sets. I know I saw them somewhere as I recall walking around the end of an aisle and nearly dying from shock at his face staring back at me. Now the problem is that the only 2 stores I haven't been back to are quite far apart so which one to try tomorrow?

    both!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Problem is I have to do my shopping inbetween bottle feeds for the youngest. Last thing I need is to be 30mins from home with a screaming baby. Might be worth it for a free dinner set though!

    I can recall having the bejaysus scared outta me seeing his ugly mug on the box but it obviously put me into shock that I can't recall the store :eek:

    I saw a Gordon Ramsey dinner set today in Horsham on an end of aisle with the denby sets. It was £25 on a yellow SEL and I'm sure the barcode ended 10023 not just 1002.

    I couldn't remember the details about it so didn't price check it.

    I don't suppose I could be a pain and ask for a pic?

    I heard about these dinner sets before and I had a brief look and I did find one Gordon Ramsey dinner set (in two colours) but I didn't have any information with me and I forgot all about it until tonight.

    The one I got was a plain white set, call Maze and it was Royal Doulton and yes it did have a huuuuuge pic of his face on the side of the box. Sorry can't post a pic as the box is now in the recycling. Also, just to add, there are slight deficiencies(sp?) that we have noticed ie if you look hard enough, the pieces are not completely round. Its not hugely noticable and for free I won't complain, but if I had paid £50 I would be pretty miffed. Then we thought, maybe its coz they're handmade, the great british tradition of Royal Doulton, looked on the box and its made in Taiwan (or Thailand - can't remember)!!! :eek: Not so British anymore!

    hi! took me a while to get my head around it too!

    simple terms - you buy shower gel and the label says £1, but when you check your reciept, you paid £2. go to customer service and they will (should) offer double the difference (DTD), giving you £2 back! nice freebie cos of their mistake! :D

    I've only ever found them in my Extra store and every time they have the stickers on I stocked up. Now got 24 coloured and 24 black glasses. That may sound excessive but they are very good quality and for 23p(black)/25p(colour) each you can't go wrong!

    i have 3 lots of these now
    the last dtd on them cs refunded £5 for some reason so had them completely free :j
    i think my iron decided to stop working today so fingers crossed i find a 1p one! (or at least some dtd) i'll price check as many as possible in hope lol
    Take care of the pence and the pounds will take care of themselves :)

    Oooooooo! Interesting! I shall be looking for many DTD bargains, I might have more luck with them cos I NEVER find any 1ps! And its not through lack of trying!

    Thanks for that
