Finding clothes for skinny child

As expected, the age 12 slim fit jeans needed to be put on the 5th or 6th hole on each side of the elasticated waist on DS's jeans - even then he took them off without undoing them. They are still a vast improvement on any other jeans we have tried recently.
I still wish they would do a slim fit skirt, because as JC states, I cannot buy the right size for DD's waist and then make the skirt longer. She likes quite a few skirts, but rarely gets to wear them.
(note to self - order several pairs of the jeans while we can get them!)MFiT-T2 #49 December 09 £15373, January 12 £0 target £0 by 12/12/12
