  • Really? I think that is rubbish. I work with many Rotti Rescues who neuter ALL of their dogs and they will disagree. I don't need to do research. I have seen it with my own eyes. You will find that cancer is common in Rotti's in general and testicular cancer is high up on the list, hence why my rescue colleagues eliminate the problem. I am assuming you run a rescue and do not neuter as you are so informed which is not a great rescue tbh?

Anyway, as stated this is not the place. I still have not heard from xoxo.

  • Thank you Emma.

I have just spoken to xoxo and she has been in touch with another rescue that has promised to get back to her by the end of the day regarding the dog. If they don't then she will be in touch with you asap.

Did you tell her a foster home has been found by emma which is a million times better than just trying to put her in a recue per se?This poor doggy has a home it can go to,I know which I'd prefer to do out of waiting for a rescue call back and getting in touch with emma who has a foster home waiting..

Hope it's sorted soon.I feel quite sad for this poor dog :(
If women are birds and freedom is flight are trapped women Dodos?
  • I do hope that the op gets in touch with you Emma, Everyone has tried to help as she seemed so desparate for help yesterday and by the sound of it the poor pup needs help asap. A prolapse must be very painfull for the poor thing and as you have a foster home ready and waiting I can only hope that she contacts you.
Thank you for your help anyway, Im glad there are people like you who are prepare to take on dgs in need.

Sorry for the late reply. Childs first day at school so i've been extremely busy.

PrincessPlaty called me to let me know about the offer, but this morning I contacted a rescue whos link i'd found through this thread. They will do the op and have found a permanent home for her after the recovery period.

Thank you so much for everyones help, especially Emma and hardupandfedup! Emma you sound like an angel and I can't thank you enough for your kind offer.

How have they found her a permanent home if they haven't even seen her or assessed her yet?

I hope it's all okay and above board, and that they find that she is suitable for the home they have in mind - but if there's even the slimmest chance that this girl might end up in kennels for a prolonged period of time I would strongly advise taking up the offer of a foster home arranged by Emma.
