  • So far today I have had a Cholesterol Lowering Drink (Tesco own, Strawberry) and a Plum. Mug hot water with a squirt of lemon juice (Jiff).

For lunch I am having a salad with some wafer thin turkey (Tesco) and salad cream (Tesco Light Choices).

For Dinner I am having some Chunky Dino rod soup and a roll (Tesco rustic bakery of some sort) with some Flora Pro Active Buttery spread.

OR we can have the wizzed up Dyno Rod sup in something but dont know what yet.

Snacks is a can of halved apricots in own juice (Tesco 234g). Possibly a large glass of weak Cherries & Berries squash (Tesco, sugar free) and a few large glasses of water or some more hot water to keep warm.

Exercise will be a brisk walk to postbox (10 mins) and if the weather stays dry I will continue round the small block to get the blood circulating to keep warm (total 30 mins).

ok i hardly ever do this cos i find it kinda boring to type it all out but this is what i am eating today

    Extra Easy

    Breakfast- Couscous yoghurt and fruit
Lunch- spaghetti hoops on 1 slice of wholemeal bread and a raid of the fruit bowl

Dinner is a bit different and we're on a budget so i make a tomato sauce with a veg stock cube and a tin of chopped tomatoes and a pinch of chilli powder,in that i chuck in veg out of the fridge, make up some pasta to throw in,it all gets covered in sauce so i can get wholemeal pasta in there ;) and then i put whatever meat i have, today it'll be Tuna out of tin, payday tomorrow!!! its good and filling and if i hadn't already had my HEB i would have cut a roll in half, made some garlic butter and had my own Garlic Bread but of course the butter is synned 10g (3.5) but its LOADS especially if its melted ;)

i use milk as my HEA for tea all day,but i try to alternate between cups of tea and hot water purely for my skin and vanity's sake ;)

i hope this helps and you can see how much food i eat and still lose?

do you add any flavour to the dry couscous whislt cooking it?
I was thinking maybe using cinnamon or vanilla.

what kind of fruit do you use? Sultanas would be lovely but they aren't free are they? I guess apple would be nice. Need some more inspiration!!

confession time-i make a fruit salad on an evening cos i LOVE puddings,so i just stir some of that in,apple, grapes and pears work well but Sultana's have to be synned,i especially like peach yoghurt with melon yum yum yum

What about sultanas (or yoghurt coated cranberries or other dried fruit chopped eg apricots, banana chips, dates), grated apple, grated carrot and possibly some chopped nuts or seeds or slithers of those small sweet peppers?

Im not very clued up as you know but these all go nice with couse couse bought ready made in the past.

Thanks for all the offers I am in West Sussex (Bognor Regis).

  • So, for me today lunch was a mug of the soup I had made last night (peas, carrots, tomatoes, beans, squash, sweet potato) with a jacket potato with 1/2 a butter buds sachet and natural yoghurt with a tbsp of oats and a nectarine chopped on top. Can anyone help me with the syns for the oats?

Thought that might give an indication of how much I eat at a meal!

  • I tried the sweet couscous and didn't really get on with it, my mouth wasn't a fan. So instead a few times I have crumbled in about 1/3 of an oxo and some worcestershire sauce and had a savoury couscous at about 10am. I find it much more palatable! Depends if you are a sweet breakfast person I guess

28grams of porridge oats is 5 syns, so you could try and work it out, cant imagine it be more than one
I dont think that is a lot of food personally! Nowhere near the volume i manage to tuck away ;)
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
