I haven't read back... are you pregnant EA? :j

After all that christmas talk I started my shopping today! I got DD1 a new lovely dressing gown, I intend it to be one of her presents in her room, and I'm going to get two the same for the twins so they don't look scruffs in my morning photos :rotfl:

They do need them though. The ones they've got are a bit ratty and now small!

Thanks Elle & Sami for fridge lock suggestions. Sami, they're circular or cylindrical bars.

Thanks Krystal & Becles for holiday suggestions. We've been the Canaries a few times in December, sometimes it's been hot, sometimes you've needed a cardi in the day, so I don't suppose you're guaranteed heat anywhere, but wherever will no doubt be warmer than here.

Off to school now - don't know whether to walk or car, it keeps going dark and threatening to rain.
Well this type should work provided they're not really fat bars, mine are from ikea but i couldn't find them on their website anymore, I think I've seen similar tesco own brand though :)[LINK REMOVED]

    Found it!
I am a bit envious of you actually EA, not that you are pregnant but at how happy you are about it and how easy it seems to be for you. I think we are similar age? (I'm 22 but had Keira at 18) and i can tell you now, If I had a pregnancy test show up with 2 lines when she was a few months old, I'd of probably been suicidal :o

It just seems to come so easy for you, and I suppose I'm a bit jealous that I never managed that or managed to be devoted to Keira (like you are with lily) when she was a few months old.

I sound like a right pleb now?

    Yeah im 21 :)

When Lily was first born i hated her sometimes. Apparently it was this > < close to PND. So i didn't find it that easy

But i think where im the oldest of 6 im used to being around babies alot.

Also, the 2nd one was planned. I hope its twins :D

I was 17 when DD1 was born and 19 when the twins were born, you do get over it BM, even when it's a shock :rotfl:

EA if it's twins you will find it very restricting to have them all so close in age.

Anyone got any ideas on what to use old baby food jars for?

I have a ton of them and it seems a waste to throw them out

Loads of things! Make jam and chutney to give as Christmas gifts, make baby food and freeze it in jars, make little tea light holders and room scenters, put them on Freecycle or ebay - there's a big list on the Special Occasions board.

I was a bit mental last night. :o OH dealt with his first dead bodies yesterday (2, unconnected) and I was creeped out by him. I couldn't give him a kiss when he came home, and made him get a shower, then made him put his uniform in the washer because I didn't want to touch it. Even after his shower I was a bit freaked and didn't want to touch him. :rotfl:

Death is weird for a lot of people. Are you ok now?

I'm making sure Molly has a lovely sleepsuit for Christmas Eve for precisely this reason :)

    Congratulations EA :j

We had a lovely time at the soft play, Stinky Monkey was nonstop for four hours AND missed her morning nap  She had a great time, my friend's boys are 7, 9 and 10 but love babies, they made her a house out of giant lego and took her on slides of varying scariness. She passed out about forty seconds after we left, didn't even make it as far as the station. Lovely photos will appear on FB later.
