Arrghhh - not the same level at all but my MIL turned my toaster up yesterday. I like my toast quite lightly done, she evidently likes hers well doneGuess who had well done toast this morning!!
Next time I go round to hers maybe I will turn hers down!!! But I guess that won't work for cooking veggies in your MILs kitchen!!
Congrats on your new nephew
It is the same thing though- it's a 'if you're in my house, it's done my way' type thing (even if you are looking after my child for free :rotfl:).
Thanks!

My toaster is set at 6, I hate when Idris makes toast as he is lazy and idle and turns it down to 2 so he can go sit back down in the living room until it's ready, but then he forgets and I find stale half cooked toast in it.
Oh, he fixed the TV. LG quoted £170 to repair it, he done it for £19 and that was for capacitors from Maplin. Some capacitors had burst and were leaking, and so it wasn't being able to store up the 5v charge it needed to turn on, hence why it kept cutting out when trying to get it on. Very pleased with that though. But my real dad said he was going to buy me a 42" plasma for Xmas - I told him that's too big as my stand can only take 37" at the most I think, anyhoo I told him and now he's asking me what I want, I can have £500 he says  !!!!!!......Iphone?
Keira's cough is still bad, it's like a dog barking it's that gruff, so went to the chemist at my mums, and told them, and I'd like to get it off the minor ailment scheme pleaseBig bottle of whatever the stuff, smells like aniseed or something, Keira hasn't been asking for THAT medicine, if it's calpol she nips your head 10 times an hour for some as it's so "malicious"

He has a habit of saying things that sound worse than he means :rotfl:

Fareham suits me. Em- where shall we go in Fareham?
Sady it wasn't a BP linked site, Ladybird, although I like your thinking! I'm finding the threads are getting locked on there quicker now so it's harder to go back and thank them too!
DT1- Not sure if you are a swagbucker or a bingoporter, but if you are and have vouchers to use then Amazon can be quite good value for GHDs. I got my pink ones from there for a great price (although I can't see them on there now).
I would offer a lift but I have no idea how to fit the first size car seat back in my car!

Im totally stuck as to what to get Keira for her "big" gift at Xmas. I will get her new board games/paints/puzzles/books/cards/bits and bobs for the main part but I do like to give her one big thing but I'm stumped. She has:
Big massive wooden dolls house
Big wooden farm set
Wooden train sets
Big wooden Kitchen
Bike
Scooter
Silvercross dolls pram....
Oh yes and the big wooden art easel
She has a desk and chairs
Er my child has everything "big" ......WHAT DO I BUY HER!! She's asking for a Motorbike :rotfl:0 -
We don't have a toaster. Not "allowed" one as it creates crumbs.
Flipping OCD weirdo.
Have to use the grill and remember i've put it under0
