  • GISI - that sounds like something to make a pointless BP post about ;) (and something which we can all come congratulate you on.... then you can come back and say thank you and tell us what you spent it on!)

I am totally still up for it- next Thursday. I don't mind about location, Fareham might be good as it is in the middle, but if travel is a problem for EA and Lily then I am happy to do Portsmouth. Soft play would probably be a good option....

I can do Fareham, i can get the 1A to the town centre.
So if someone can meet me there as i always get lost in Fareham.

DH will probably come along to, but dont worry he doesn't steal babies ;):rotfl::rotfl:

Although once he said this to me "Now we have a baby i feel i can look at other peoples babies without looking like a weirdo"
He has a habit of saying things that sound worse than he means :rotfl:

I have ordered an electronic mouse killer thingy :) We went to the council to ask about enviromental health coming out and they said that often they charge more than the shop bought poison, but he recommomended the electronic thing as he has one.
  • Oh and CFAC DH tries "I never get any time off" on me all the time. I ask him what every saturday in the pub and at least one night a week where he goes for a drink after work counts as then. Seeing as I've been out once on my own since she was born (plus about 4 or 5 times where we have gone out together). Oh and occasionally I get to have a bath ;)

Isn't the landlord sorting it? They should pay for environmental health!

Fareham suits me. Em- where shall we go in Fareham?

Sady it wasn't a BP linked site, Ladybird, although I like your thinking! I'm finding the threads are getting locked on there quicker now so it's harder to go back and thank them too!

DT1- Not sure if you are a swagbucker or a bingoporter, but if you are and have vouchers to use then Amazon can be quite good value for GHDs. I got my pink ones from there for a great price (although I can't see them on there now).

No i didn't bother calling her, our neighbours (who used to live here) say she is rubbish at dealing with stuff and i cba with waiting.

ILs have given us two big bottles of Anti-Bac spray and some blue paper towels to assist in our cleaning mission.

We are going to throw out our toaster, as we never use it and the guy from the council said the mice are probably getting crumbs from it.

Also have to sort out Lilys toys, she has loads of small one she doesn't play with now so they are being packed away for now.
  • GISI you could probably still mention it on winners are grinners bit - there seem to be loads of different sites mentioned on there.

I always liked the Lynley Dodd ones, you know, hairy maclary and slinky malinki :)

Also (although it doesn't rhyme) we're going on a bear hunt was always a big hit with mine when they were small!

Bear hunt is a fave here too...it's just a 'fun' read rather than a calming read IWSWIM (we do the actions!!!)
    That is very , SS.

I am currently annoyed at my MIL for cooking lamb in my house while I was away (I am veggie). She wouldn't have done it if I was here, but apparently cooking it in my kitchen, with my utensils is okay if I am away for the night .

Let's set fire to them both SS!

Arrghhh - not the same level at all but my MIL turned my toaster up yesterday. I like my toast quite lightly done, she evidently likes hers well done :( Guess who had well done toast this morning!!

Next time I go round to hers maybe I will turn hers down!!! But I guess that won't work for cooking veggies in your MILs kitchen!!

Congrats on your new nephew :D

 anyone messing with my toaster settings would feel the full extent of my rage. Even Husband knows to put it back when he's done carbonising bread.
