But im annoyed as they have wrote my name as 'Miss Valamtine'
It annoys me because they always write my name wrong (even my old surname), its as if they see my surname and think 'That must be wrong, i'll change it to what i think it is'
Valentines day is a very public holiday, my name is spelt exactly the same as that! And i wrote on the form im married, so not a 'Miss'.
 I hate it when people change the spelling of your name for you - I used to get it all the time because my maiden name was quite popular in Stoke, but spelled differently to how mine was. People just used to change it all the time
Although yours could just be a typo - the N and the M are very close together
I have no worries now I am a Smith!!! But I do hate being called Miss or even worse Ms :mad::mad:please listen to MFD - she is a wise woman

SS, I got my Keynoir voucher through today, so yours should arrive soon.
Hugs for those with crappy DHs. I can't complain about mine - he's out mowing the lawn right now! :rotfl:
Finn can now go from lying down to sitting! He's just done it twice before I twigged what was going on. Now if only he'd stop being infatuated with the steps down into the kitchen
.
Lol Becles, glad you got comfy shoes. DH said something similar when he got fitted for running shoes - he said it's amazing how much lighter you feel!
Who was asking about MFD testing recipes? She's doing a lot of stuff from Weezl's Cheap Family Recipes project
. There's a new Crimbo planner with loads of yummy stuff if people are interested.

Our chemist always print my name labels off with Miss M-B on them... They were still printing my maiden name despite the prescriptions being in my married name for ages and only changed it when I pointed it out...
The hospital definitely mail merge... My letters come with everything in lower case and my surname all in caps... They obviously had the care in the community guy inputting all the information that day...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Just got back from collecting A from school and doing some shopping and I've had a letter from work.
I arranged to see my new boss just over 2 weeks ago to discuss the fact that I would like to change my hours when I come back. It's not a major change - I'm still going to be full-time, but I've asked if it would be possible for me to start work slightly earlier and only take a half an hour lunch break so that I can finish at 3.45pm to collect my daughter from school. She said that she couldn't see a problem, but she couldn't agree anything without it going to her boss and HR, so could I put my request in writing. I emailed her (as she asked) the next day, emphasising that I can still work all and any overtime as required.
Anyway, other than acknowledging it, I haven't heard anything for 2 weeks. I was expecting a yay or nay response, but instead I've had a letter from HR, 'inviting' me to a meeting at the end of next week to discuss my request with him, my new manager and the Director of our area. I can bring a union representative - lovely! Great, now I'm going to have to worry about that all week now, and they can be right !!!!!! too.... really dreading this, I already feel sick.:(
Oh, and still no word from the bank despite them saying that they'd ring today.
Try not to worry about work- same thing happened to me. It had all been very pally then suddenly one day I got an email inviting me in for a formal discussion and told that I could bring a representative (or whatever word they used). I was properly scared but when I turned up it was all fine- just a formality.
That sounds mortifying Krystal. I am a bit obsessive about not being in my PJs when the postie comes. Totally stupid, but I hate the thought of it. Luckily our post comes super late.
I'm up to £15 Bp, £5 SB and £6 Keynoir! I'm loving the free money!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator

It annoys me more when i actually spell it out to them. I once emailed Mr Kipling (to ask about the giant french fancy) and i signed it with K Von-Doom.
They replied 'Dear K VONDOM...'
I was tempted to reply 'Are you blind, i wrote it out for you and you still mispelt it' but DH said they probably thought someone couldn't have a name as silly as that :rotfl:Krystaltips wrote: »Our chemist always print my name labels off with Miss M-B on them... It only seems to be the maternity unit that does it, everything else medical related is in my correct name.
They even wrote the wrong time of birth on Lilys notes, only an hour out but i like things to be correct

I am loving this working from home lark!!
Well...I was in Preston this morning but I have been at home this afternoon...
In between work and checking up on you lot I have cooked dinner and ironed 12 items of clothing (okay, it is not much but it is something) I have also filled and put the dishwasher on - which means that this evening will be more relaxed than usual because I have done half of my 'chores' already.
I am also being scarily productive work wise
Now I best go and collect my babba for some fun before bedtime
please listen to MFD - she is a wise woman

:j for Finn and for Keynoir! Maybe teach him to go down them backwards rather than trying to get him to stay away? Safer and less effort

I got two emails today, from different people working for the same company, both with the same misspelling of my surname. This despite my having emailed both of them first with my full name
Molly's time of birth was also out, only they had is as 2am instead of 8pm  It was wrong in her photobook as well although we'd told them it was wrong, and they tried to make us pay to fix it. Pfft.My_Fathers_Daughter wrote: »I am loving this working from home lark!!
I'm far more productive working from home too
Three key areas cleaned and tidied today, errands run outside, the major task I needed to do finished plus some bonus bits, banking and paperwork done ... and Husband cleaned the floors so I can cross it off my list too :j
Poor snotty Molly's being a cranky horror. She wants to be cuddled, but only while she is moving around, and since nobody wants to do that she is climbing up, sliding down and then crying because she is not being cuddled on the floor. However, Husband has provided yet another cup of tea (I like it when he is in a tea drinking phase because it means I get loads of cups on his schedule as well as mine) and she appears now to be engaged in quiet destruction of something so I at least have five minutes. Hurrah for babies!
CAFC did L stay asleep?
Arnie, it's probably a formality, try not to worry.
