DH did that to me while we were on holiday and Amber was poorly. We had a MASSIVE bust up.

They just don't get it that we need support. It won't make a difference to E if he is there but it will to you. They can't just come along and enjoy the good things and leave us to deal with all the !!!!. And you know fine well that if you were out he would be calling you demanding you come home.

My DH did eventually say sorry and start to understand but that was only after he realised that we would be going home and he would be leaving. It was that bad. But he had claimed not to have gotten texts due to where he was and I was later told that he did get them and ignored them.

Thats exactly how i feel right now, I am actually crying, cos I love my OH so much and I wouldnt want to be without him ever but something has to change cos I cant take it anymore.

He dosent do anything with e anymore, and he was so good when he was first born, I do everything, bottles, feeding, bathing, putting to bed, washing etc etc and its just getting to me

For once I would like a lay in too when he has days off, I mean yes he does a midnight feed with E on a fri night so it means I get a sleep but then I usually have to go to bed at 10 otherwise I dont get a lay in and even then once OH has done the feed at midnight thats it if E wakes up anymore I have to deal withhim cos OH doesnt hear him as he sleeps with his arm over his ear, like last night, I went to bed at 10.30pm, OH woke me at 1am cos he couldnt find the keys to lock the house, then E was up repeatdily from 2.30am and E got up at 6.30am

I am sick of doing everything around the house too, I am dreading going back to work cos he will still expect me to do everything

Hes coming home now, Ive told him there is a letter for him, cos I find it easier to write it down

He has had sole charge of E ONCE! and then I got phone calls from 1pm asking when I was coming home!! came home to find nothing done around the house and E was out of bottles

Googling says that some lilies can be mildly toxic if eaten. But it would be a fair few petals and she would start throwing up within 4 hours, so like an upset tummy. LOL, you will know soon enough! Cala lilies (the ones that look like flutes) and peace lilies are the baddies.

Kindof, it does sound like your OH needs a sharp reminder that he is now a parent and sometimes parents have to give up things they would like to do because their child or their partner needs support.

Husband is now sleeping after mopping all the floors while Molly and I were out. Tiring business :rotfl:

kian has discovered/managed somehow... to turn all the screen information display on the laptop upside down. He only pushed a few keys when i was on the phone. has taken me 15mins to figure out out to get the display back the right way.

then i fixed it and he shut the laptop down

kindof- i think your OH is like my DH. thinks i should be up late evry night, doesnt understand why sometimes i'm exhausted by 9pm. and god forbid i ring to ask what time he is coming home at when he goes out on a sunday. He moaned last sunday as i qsked him to pick up milk on his way home. He does help more with kian but never does anything round the house.

But that is all going to change. I'm fed up of working and doing all the housework myself.

    im losing the plot today....

Landen will not sleep... he's been like this for 3 days, as soon as I put him down he whinges and cries, he only falls asleep on the bottle and as soon as I move him he wakes up screaming... He currently in his swing screaming like a good un (the social will no doubt be round soon!) because I need to move away from him.... how bad does that sound?!
I just dont know what to do with him......................

CAFC, sometimes it is ok to put the baby in a safe place and walk away for a while. It astonished me when Molly was a few months old that she would cry nonstop because I'd been mean and horrible and put her down for a sleep and be able to stay awake for super long periods while I cuddled her and sang to her and went slowly mad. But then I started to make sure she was safe and leave her for as long as it took me to sob my heart out in the bathroom - and often when I came back to her she was sound asleep, the little horror.

I'm doing some inane posting - just got another BP Amazon voucher today and my basket is full, just waiting for my £6 Keynoir voucher too so it doesn't cost me any money at all :money:

Oh is there another Scottish meet up happening? When, where?

I am feeling seriously run down, I've had periods on/off for over 6 weeks now :( I've got boils or something on my thighs? I've had them there before but I think I only get them when I'm utterly wrecked. My boobs are aching, my back is aching, I've broke out in spots again. NIGHTMAAAAAAAAAAAAARE.

Elle - I got your FB message, that was really nice of you :) But 3/4 wouldn't fit her, I just bought her an age 5-6 Alice in Wonderland dress from Asda and it's just the right length (though a bit baggy) she must of sprouted, think she's about 3ft 5 now. She got her feet measured and one is an 8 and the other a 9? How squiffy!
