That's all fab news WM! Well done Alex :T It makes such a big difference when your no longer worried about getting covered with each feed. We had to wean Liam on to normal formula because he was used to the thicker stuff too - we did it in stages, gradually reducing the amount of thickening formula.I'm so glad he's fine with dairy too, that one is proving to be a difficult one for us to manage.
Liam's eczema was getting under control until yesterday - but he's teething and apparently that can effect it too! We're still under the community nurses for another visit, then we'll either be referred back to our GP or onto the hospital (the hospital can then refer us back to the community nurses if needed ) We're still waiting for an appointment with the dietician (sp), but it's a 6-8 week wait. In the meantime we're on soya.
Ah, your poor childminder!0 -
Hi Jam,
Can't help you I'm afraid, but I was wondering if you had started back at work. How is it going?0 -
I have a fit note for a week.
GP was running half an hour behind. She suggested a phased return to work, I will break the news next week that I won't be going back there, it did go down well that I'm submitting a grievance and not just letting it fester.
Plans for today, to buy fudge for brownies, make brownies and deliver them to letter editor for consumption. I got the rest of the ingredients from Mr T Express, 82p for 100g 74% Dark Chocolate = happy MDW.
Yays and hugs all round.Proud to be dealing with my debts

Latest installment of the never-ending CSA saga: "We have been told that Mr Ex is no longer employed"
a) Yes he is
b) Even if he wasn't, what about my arrears?
and c) Yes he is.I don't get CSA either lol. Tw@ts. Why doesn't smarmy Cameron do something about the waste of their wages. I've never met anyone yet who the CSA actually works well for
It does work for thousands, honest.
But they're not on here or in the mail complaining.
Your OH hasn't lost his job due to his latest saga has he?
I had a random out of the blue phonecall from them yesterday. During the security questions bit:
Them: Can you tell me oldests name and dob?
Me: J and date.
Them: Can you tell me how and when we normally pay you?
Me: No because i've never been paid.
Them: Oh, right.
But at least it proves staff don't get preferential treatment! :rotfl:
We've taken a break from cleaning L's swamp. It's now at the stage where it looks worse before it gets better. She's a manky mare and she needs a bedroom twice the size of this house to contain all of her crap.:beer:0 -

Well done chris!got-it-spend-it wrote: »
R-Mac- certain products around the store in Ikea have two prices- the regular price and the family price so you can save some pennies by swiping your card at the till. Cafe-wise you get free hot drinks (including refills) and a reduced price on various meals including breakfast, whatever is the special of the day and sometimes kids meals. After 3pm you can get a muffin and a hot drink for 70p with a family card, and you can get a Plum pouch of baby food free with any main meal (the fruity one makes a good pud for LOs). Not that we go there a lot
thank you! can't decide on cheap breakfast and free coffee on fri morning, or cheap muffin and coffee combo this afternoon :rotfl:got-it-spend-it wrote: »
Ooh, I came on to ask whether anyone has used this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HG-Mould-Spray-500ml-Cleaning-Products-/250694063534?pt=UK_HomeGarden_CLV_Cleaning_CA&hash=item3a5e87d5ae#ht_707wt_704. Our shower is pretty manky and this has amazing reviews online. I might have to try it.
gosh - with postage its pricey. Can I ask where you found the reviews? I've not heard of it and have a similar problem. I can't decide if my scrubbing isn't very good and regular, or is DH is generally very grubby :rotfl: I had thought about a steam cleaner to get it all very clean, but can't find one on a recommendation, an also don't fancy spending hundreds......

My double ear infection has now somehow got into my mouth and my gums are swollen. I also have those sore bits on the roof of my mouth too and a clicky jaw. So I can't eat very well becuase it feels like tooth ache on every tooth!
This morning I battered Ambers head off the car door and dropped her off at nursery with a very red eye that will probably be black by the time I pick her up. But I remembered her lunch...
I have till 3.30/4pm to realx, eat and tidy up a bit

i thought of you last night 3 as i was putting her back lol! i am planning on changing the rooms around but will need to buy her a bed first
think that may be a plan this weekend as i now cant go to party
why do our babies have to grow up so quick!
QUOTE]
I was planning on changing A with the spare room, but upon doing some planning and measuring, its probably not going to happen just now, but I am planning a redecorating exercise.
Caitlyn and Erin and V re all little climbing devils. Annabel loves climbing and I find her in lots of odd plces, but its not yet occurred to her to even think that she could climb out of the cot which I am very grateful for, but I have found the bed I want to buy her...
question - A can now climb in and out of her tripp trapp  should I take off the bit that makes it a highchair, or is that just daft:o it would make it less dangerous for her getting in and out of, but would mean she could escape more easily IYKWIM.Quick sneaky post from boring work...
Hi all, waterporoofs - all in one or seperate? Fleece lined or not? Any opinions?
Thanks, back later, hugs to all xxx
we have this http://www.jojomamanbebe.co.uk/sp+Pack-away-Waterproof-All-in-Ones+B2379 in floral. Its very good. Its not lined so she can wear as much or as little unerneath epening on weather temp. If she was younger though I'd prob go with a fleece lined one.
She also has a coat that is waterproof and lined and warm, but it didn't go with any of the waterproof dungarees, so we went for the all in one for muddy puddle jumping and winter beach outings

hope that you are feeling better about things - I can't tell from your post.
Also (being nosey) are you a tester for a magazine? I'm confused and intrigued about the brownies and can recommend the tesco chocolate. Its great in cooking.
