  • Grr - just lost my post.
Hugs for those who had a bad night/crack of dawn wake-up.
Kyrstal - wahey for new dishwasher
    SJ - Wahey for guttering.
Caz - arrgh for cot clambouring antics.
Kindof - nice to 'see' you back.
    3 - thank-you very much :)
SS- Hope you feel better very soon.
eta: 3 - I quite like the idea of a cot with a lid; does that make me a bad mummy? lol.

Things are very tense in the Redstar household. Mortgage adviser rang yesterday to say that the underwriter has 'several concerns'. Tried to answer them as best I could, but I'm now waiting very anxiously and have everything crossed that they are going to grant us the mortgage.

SS are you making the cards yourself or getting a company to do them?

Taking photos, printing them and slipping them inside blank fridge magnets (10 for €2 in a local shop :money:)

I printed off flyladys list yesterday, and actually managed to complete it. However, the living room looks like a bomb site again already. V obviously doesn't like her books to be neatly on the shelf. :(

I only put stuff back on the shelves when Molly's asleep. The period where the living room is for adults and things are in their places soothes my Type A soul enough that I manage not to bite through my lips when she pulls them all down again in the morning.

Thanks Arnie, I hope your underwriter can be satisfied.

Giant spid in our bathroom spelunked down in my direction as I was in the shower. Will have fun trying to explain to Husband later that it is high fashion to have one underarm shaved and the other not :o

Oh dear, I think I'm losing the plot - I read this as 'a giant squid'!!!!!! I thought that you must have an interesting shower!

Krystal - yey for your new dishwasher. Have you been saving up your dishes?
I was going to put on facebook a joke about having 4 days worth of dishes... But I thought some people might believe me so I refrained lol... Although it was D's turn to wash up last night and there's a suspiscious number of cups and glasses on the side... His excuse was he prefers his glasses washed in a dishwasher so he'd rather wait... Yeh.. K...

My mum suggested a cot with a lid, or reins on in the cot when V started to do it. It's quiet worrying that she works with children. :rotfl:
Did I mention my MIL and her "spare cot side tied to the top of the cot" method of restraining SIL...

Caz, looks like our girls figured it out at the same time... Although I do still have another notch down I can lower the cot, I think that, combined with Caitlyn's tinyness might just buy me a bit longer...

I prefer to just do it all once they're asleep too... But I am a little dismayed that my living room was visitor tidy yesterday and a complete !!!!!! hole today...

And I'm sick of the sight of the boxes full of skanky pushchair... Hopefully the paypal money will clear today and I can get it sent back... The seller emailed me to say they sent it on next day delivery and they'd like me to send it back the same way... They can go and whistle!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

I must be mean - until Alice could put them back herself I didn't let her have more than three books out at a time.

    Morning :)

Well seems my mention of going for a smear got you all talking yesterday, I have to say it was uncumfy for a few seconds but apparently thats cos I have a high cervix. Anyhoo better safe than sorry.

Kindof - cant believe how quick those 3 days went!

Aless - I didnt qualify for that pushchair survey on account of working for a baby product retailer :( I did contemplate lying cos I know that would be the case.

SS - bargain fridge magnets :) we're doing keyrings for aunties and uncles for xmas, but would add those too if I can find some bargains like that, hmm ebay later me thinks.

Jenny- lovely colourful nappystacker, even fabbier cos its hand made :D

Krystal - lots of yeays for found keys, dishwasher deliveiries and free cycle collections. Hope bumped heads are better soon.

Red - hope the morgage goes through for you.

Glam - eek at presentation for interview but hope it goes fabby.

Anyhoo have had food delivered this am and done some bits around the house and T is playing happily in her travel cot with bargain stacking cups from ikea. However she did puke all over my leg a few minutes ago so about time I go shower and dress.

Before I dissapear am looking at duvets and have found a few cheapo ones on ebay but pretty covers are another thing I think cos its cot size :( debating getting cot bed size instead or does someone wanna look for pretty but cheap cot duvet covers for me (smiles sweetly :))

Did you not have to wait for a million years in an assessment room and be assessed before being admitted?

I was in straight away for the false alarm the day before I was admitted, then spent 2 days on ante natal waiting to be induced!

That would have been even scarier :rotfl: There's a PTer with a spid phobia and the short word's less scary.

I deal with that by never being properly visitor tidy - I go with "wouldn't die of embarrassment if visitor came" and apologise for the mess.

That seller's taking the pee a bit! Have you checked couriers? I use Interparcel for a bunch of quotes :)
