Googling says that some lilies can be mildly toxic if eaten. But it would be a fair few petals and she would start throwing up within 4 hours, so like an upset tummy. LOL, you will know soon enough! Cala lilies (the ones that look like flutes) and peace lilies are the baddies.0

Kindof, it does sound like your OH needs a sharp reminder that he is now a parent and sometimes parents have to give up things they would like to do because their child or their partner needs support.
Husband is now sleeping after mopping all the floors while Molly and I were out. Tiring business :rotfl:Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

kian has discovered/managed somehow... to turn all the screen information display on the laptop upside down. He only pushed a few keys when i was on the phone. has taken me 15mins to figure out out to get the display back the right way.
then i fixed it and he shut the laptop down'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
kindof- i think your OH is like my DH. thinks i should be up late evry night, doesnt understand why sometimes i'm exhausted by 9pm. and god forbid i ring to ask what time he is coming home at when he goes out on a sunday. He moaned last sunday as i qsked him to pick up milk on his way home. He does help more with kian but never does anything round the house.
But that is all going to change. I'm fed up of working and doing all the housework myself.'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
im losing the plot today....
Landen will not sleep... he's been like this for 3 days, as soon as I put him down he whinges and cries, he only falls asleep on the bottle and as soon as I move him he wakes up screaming... He currently in his swing screaming like a good un (the social will no doubt be round soon!) because I need to move away from him.... how bad does that sound?!
I just dont know what to do with him......................Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
CAFC, sometimes it is ok to put the baby in a safe place and walk away for a while. It astonished me when Molly was a few months old that she would cry nonstop because I'd been mean and horrible and put her down for a sleep and be able to stay awake for super long periods while I cuddled her and sang to her and went slowly mad. But then I started to make sure she was safe and leave her for as long as it took me to sob my heart out in the bathroom - and often when I came back to her she was sound asleep, the little horror.
I'm doing some inane posting - just got another BP Amazon voucher today and my basket is full, just waiting for my £6 Keynoir voucher too so it doesn't cost me any money at all :money:Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Oh is there another Scottish meet up happening? When, where?
I am feeling seriously run down, I've had periods on/off for over 6 weeks nowI've got boils or something on my thighs? I've had them there before but I think I only get them when I'm utterly wrecked. My boobs are aching, my back is aching, I've broke out in spots again. NIGHTMAAAAAAAAAAAAARE.
Elle - I got your FB message, that was really nice of youBut 3/4 wouldn't fit her, I just bought her an age 5-6 Alice in Wonderland dress from Asda and it's just the right length (though a bit baggy) she must of sprouted, think she's about 3ft 5 now. She got her feet measured and one is an 8 and the other a 9? How squiffy!

Kindof - Big Hugs for you.
I have made many posts complaining, whinging, B!tching about my OH. You are not on your own. And I too could go to bed at 9pm every night when i'm finally finished doing what I need to do, but then something more often than not comes up or I remember I need to wash my hair, because it is minging. Whilst he's sat on his backside since 6pm.
He is a right charmer, i've had a text today saying and i quote "are you getting your kit off tonight or what?" Or what would be the answer, because i'm ruddy exhausted because your a lazy unhelpful git.
He's also told me not to bother making any tea. Well I wasn't planning on it, because i have to get Joe from school, then go across town to pick Alex up, as my Auntie is looking after him for me today as both sets of grandparents have gone on holiday (to the same place). I will most probably make it back at the same time as him. But non of this occurs to him, because I finish work at 5pm, I obviously get home at 5:02pm. And have a full hour to cook and clean up before he gets home. Tit. *rolls eyes big time*
But on a happier note. My decorating is nearly finished, just a couple of doors left for him to gloss tomorrow. Just a shame the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms look in desperate need of redecorating now!0 -
yes please
I'm not planning on buying a new pushchair though....;)
Well done chris!
thank you! can't decide on cheap breakfast and free coffee on fri morning, or cheap muffin and coffee combo this afternoon :rotfl:
gosh - with postage its pricey. Can I ask where you found the reviews? I've not heard of it and have a similar problem. I can't decide if my scrubbing isn't very good and regular, or is DH is generally very grubby :rotfl: I had thought about a steam cleaner to get it all very clean, but can't find one on a recommendation, an also don't fancy spending hundreds......
I found the reviews on Ciao here http://www.ciao.co.uk/HG_Mould_Spray__6376510.
I've just bought some in Robert Dyas for £5.80 so I'll have a go with it once H wakes up from his nap.i'd just get a harnessI've got one from the £1 shop and one that was £6 from boots, both work well to keep Edgar in his highchair
Tia, fab news yesterday about big Christopher :T:j

When H was about 4 months old one of my staff and his wife called round at 7pm one evening just after I had wrangled H into bed. The house has never been so messy, tea was dished up, the kitchen was strewn with dirty plates and pans and the lounge was covered in toys. I am still embarrassed about it, and as they don't have kids I am sure they must think I am the messiest person in the world and have no idea 7pm is not visitor time :rotfl:. I've learned my lesson and now don't answer the door.
Massive hugs Kindof, I don't blame you for being upset. If I were you I would arrange to go out somewhere for an afternoon at the weekend so OH has to look after E and can see what it's like. I get frustrated at my OH's thoughtlessness sometimes, but he does do his fair share most of the time. I don't think I'd be sane if he didn't.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0
