Evening all..
It's on the grabbit board, but worth a mention... Morrisons have two Pampers Jumbo (ETA: Active Fit) boxes for £10. They're on a pallet near the store entrance marked up as one for £8 (which is still a saving of £2 on most places) but they went through the till at two for £10 - Morrisons employees on the Grabbit board say they're supposed to, I just don't think our store has the signs up
66 nappies in a 4+ box so 132 for £10 makes them 7.5p each :money:
EA, hope Lily is okay xx
:T for Fergie!
:grouphug: as and where required

EA Hugs for Lily.

:T For clever Ferg.
On speaking, V says lots and lots of things, but I reckon 99% of them, only I understand.
She was saying wuv you last night, and refused today to prove to OH & L. Her wuv you sounded very much the same as her wiveee (L).

for feeling sick. Iykwim!
WM You speaking of horrible kids reminded me. Earlier on, V & J were out in the back. Horrible girl next door appeared up on the fence, with an equally horrible little boy. The little boy complained that the dog jumped at him while he was on the fence! Get of my chuffing fence then! I said he should be careful getting down off the fence or he may fall and break his head. :rotfl:
Five minutes later there's a smash, and the little shoites had thrown a flourescent tube type bulb over! I got the children and dog in while I brushed it up and the little boy appeared again saying 'do you want me to go and get E's Mum so you can tell her E threw that over'. I bet it was him!
V had no sleeps today, so went up at 10 to 7 and was fast asleep by 7.
Now i'm having a glass of wine, waiting for our curry and watching X-factor. :beer:0 -
Gentle hugs for Lily. There are lots of horrid cold viruses going round at the moment- hope you all feel better soon.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator

The film is based on a book and it completely takes away the whole idea behind it- Im guessing Josh may have read the book first in class? The book is extremely clever, it has no blurb at all and the only indication of the fact that it is about the awful events of WW II are the blue and white stripes that go around the cover. I have read this with year 8.
Yes it was in Year 8 when he read the book and watched the film. I never read the book so I didn't realise the book was so different from the film. It makes more sense now.
I did one of my GCSE English essays on the differences between film and book using Tom Clancy's The Hunt for Red October. The book was more technical and political, but the film was dumbed down. I got an A for that :cool:Mine only came to the house at about 36 weeks for the birth plan. She said it was to make sure they knew where your house was ready for the postnatal visits. A home booking appointment would have been good - I had to postphone mine because I was too ill to make it to the surgery.
We must be under the same midwives, but I know I got my birth plan done earlier than that as Charlotte was born at 36 weeks! I think it might have been around 28 weeks as I was booked in for a home delivery and she wanted to have a look at my bedroom and bathroom so she could plan things. It was at my 30 week check when the realised there were problems and my home delivery was cancelled.

That's weird! P&G have had reps going into store this week setting up the pallets with the £8 promotion. No mention was made of 2 for £10.
Never had a Dyson before, but I absolutely love my Miele! Here I go again on my own....0 -
You'd better not come here for dinner then. (Although we did have pizza from the pizza shop today.)
Yes! Sorry
I realised after I posted, I don't mean to say "OS cooking cannot be nice" - I do think though that if you are going to cook frugally and old-style and use cheaper ingredients you do also need to be careful and skilful to end up with something which tastes as nice. Which is where things like Weezl's heroic efforts come in, you can trust them. I hope that is not offensive! And I don't feel he does a good job at doing that. I shall be quiet now in case foot slips farther into mouth

OH came in from work at half 4 this morning. When I spoke to him this afternoon, he told me he came in at half 4. I told him I knew, in my annoyed voice, and he said he thought he'd came in quietly.
It sounded like he bounced through the front door, then closed it with a hammer. Pogo'd into the bathroom, did a really loud wee, flushed, taps, door again. Went into the kitchen, filled the kettle loudly, put kettle on, bounced cups around for a while, etc etc.
Then at half five we woke up again when he bounced up the stairs, quietly  climbed over the stairgate, fell into our room and slammed the door behind him, stripped off, fell into bed and farted.
I really need to get used to these shifts.
3 - you have just made me cry with laughter, it's just what I needed thank you. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Proud to be dealing with my debts

He was much better this morning MDW, or maybe I was just sleeping deeper!
Have you had a bad day?:beer:0 -
My two are now in bed. I may well get to watch the last half hour of X factor in peace.
Joes scooter broke today. He is gutted. He has been using it everyday on the way to school Had asked yesterday for a Razor Spark Scooter for his birthday. £55 for a scooter than fires sparks:eek:. There is a basic one on offer in Argos for £8, he can have that tomorrow and i'll try and persuade him that he doesnt need the other one.
3 when we all buy one of those mansions off right move we won't have to put up with nasty neighbours and horrible kids. We can but dream!0
