Well done on the job Mr Kitkat. :j
SS well done on the chat.Krystaltips wrote: »I love my Dyson!! It weighs a bit more than the cheaper hoovers I had but nothing comes close to how well it picks up and how easy it is to use...
I loved my Dyson for the first two months, then it was rubbish! So I replaced it with a Hetty which a year on, is still brilliant.
How are you feeling today Susan?
OOh, I dreamt of SS last night. Nothing interesting, she just wanted to borrow a black and white striped top to wear for a fancy dress party as a burglar!
We've had an average day of dropping and collecting children, quick trip to Asda and ironing. I've ordered indian takaway for me and the big ones for tea, hopefully the little one will be in bed before it comes.:beer:0 -
Hiya all, Lily is poorly. She's snotty, whingy, has gloopy eyes and is sleeping and crying alot. Her temp is 37.9 so she has an appointment at the hospital tonight
Susan, i have paid for a private scan and my gp told me about the rest, the mw called and confirmed i may have 2 scans if my dates dont add up to what they have (which they wont as i know when i ovulated) and apparently they work on Sundays.0 -
How've you managed to get a scan date before you've been booked in? (And how come they're doing booking appointments on a Sunday?)
You could refuse and have in the week if you wanted to in our area, as some people didn't like it

I have forgotten what colour to do it in but I am very happy as we have a milestone here, ferg said a little sentence
he walked into the room, held his apple half aloft and said, 'mammy! My apple!'
very happy

Could you not ask FIL to cook once or twice to take the pressure off you when you have been at work? Also could FIL take E out to the park or something this afternoon so you can work on your case study? I take it the interview went well?
Thanks GISI
FIL is keen to cook actually, but to be honest that raises my hackles just as much as anything elseI am quite protective of my kitchen, I get anxious when OH cooks! I will definitely have to let him but he is a very OS and frugal cook and tbh I never enjoy the things he makes much (chicken broth using the bones, home-made pizza, 'stovetop lasagne' and the like). Still, it will give me a break anyway.
They did go out together this pm and I got some work done but have had to write to someone for advice so on hold for now anyway. Interview I think went well, 1 hour slot lasted 90 mins, but she did make clear that I was the first of "a lot" of 1st-round interviews. Fingers crossed.Krystaltips wrote: »Bruno, sorry your privacy is being invaded, and you don't even have a new bed by way of compensation... But just like childhood... In the grand scheme of things, this is 5 mins... They will be gone before you know it, and it will be harder for Mrs B to wave her Dad off than it is for you to put up with him a while... I'm sure you'll get through it alive and with most of your sanity intact
How did E go to bed last night with Grandpa interrupting his routine?
It's true, it's more good than bad overall, OH is so pleased, and E is loving it too. But sigh!
Grandpa was quite good about hiding too at bedtime, and E is definitely extra-tired yesterday and today by all the extra attention, so he has slept very well so far
We had at least one scan on a Sunday. But oo get you Weezl, and your fancy home visits... none of that from our midwives (til post-natal)!0 -
