He was much better this morning MDW, or maybe I was just sleeping deeper!

Have you had a bad day?

A bad month, work has finally got on top of me, now off with stress. They were picking up on and criticising me for the smallest and pettiest things so I've had enough.

Silly union man hasn't rung me either yet.

Had a lovely day today, the drive over to Sheffield was gorgeous, DH is now happy as he has brake discs for his bike, so it is a step closer to being on the road.

Stopped in town on the way back and bought these and these for Katie. She's 8G now, grown 1/2 a size since May.

Caz, yes I do but I wont fit anything else in the boot with it. Plus it's getting a bit woibbly and Amber wants to sit up more than the Joolz lets her.

How much Fern? They are going for about £50 on eBay if you have time to wiat.

Thanks! I did wait and just got one for £60. Much better than the £175 brand new one I was going to buy. It was from boots though so I would have got £21 back in points but better than half price can't be bad! :) I really hope my DD2 likes it better than the techno. If not then Waaaahhhhhhhhh! (thats me not her BTW) :D
  • That will be nice for him to catch up with folks.

We're good thanks, have had the cold lurgy that's going round but much better today.

I'm struggling with DH at the moment though. He just seems distant, never really bothered about doing anything with me, nose permanently buried in Facebook. He says he's just tired, but I feel like we need to do something to get the zing back. No idea what though as he doesn't seem enthusiastic about anything I suggest or organise.

We're good thanks. I've just been to put the big ones up to bed, load the dishwasher with the takeaway curry plates, and now i'm sitting on my bottom, all on my own again :(, waiting for John Bishop on BBC1.

I bet you're all planned for Christmas/Birthdays now aren't you?

MDW Hopefully the union man will call you Monday. Or can you call them? I know the union in my work were great. Was it you're off self cert now, and go back to Docs for a note next week?

Well glad you had a good chat with DH, Sugar. Sounds like it was just what you needed.

Hugs for poorly babies and mummies. There's a lot of sniffles about.

I love my Dyson! It's a fairly basic one but it's definitely worth the £150 I spent on it.

Ooh Aunty Glam, congrats! I was looking at all the videos on my phone last night of Alfie right from when he was born. Was making me a little broody.

I'm watching The Great British Bake Off, the biscuits one. I want biscuits and a cuppa now. Gosh, I just want everything I see don't I?! ETA: Digestive biscuits were invented as a cure for farting :rotfl:

3 - Work not unionised, joined because of work issues. I keep calling them I've left about 5 messages :( Will be ringing again on Monday lunchtime if not heard anything.

I'm on self-cert until until Wednesday, I've already been to my GP so just need to ring, leave a message and she'll leave me a note on reception for me. GP doesn't like a Type 2 Diabetic being stressed.

Apologies for being so selfish, hugs to everyone.

I think Katie's boots were a hit, everytime we took them off she put them straight back on again!
