Hope you have a good time tomorrow Sugar, sure you will once you get there :)

I am planning October's meals. I normally do a weeks' worth but doing the whole month as I am trying to implement a budget. Even if we don't stay within it this month we should at least be a bit more aware of what we are spending. Plus we have tons in the cupboards and freezer that we can use up and so have a cheap month.

Think I missed what was up with work MDW but hope you can sort it :)

The first think V (and J & L) do when they come in is take shoes and socks off - just like me. :D

Although V got herself into a right tangle the other day, she was wearing tights and shorts and couldn't figure out why when she was pulling at the toes of the tights they weren't coming off.

SJ - work suspended me at the start of September for sticking up for my rights as an employee, tried to fire me through a disciplinary, which didn't work as I had a good defence, so consequently they've been making my life hell ever since, finally all got to much on Thursday.

Katie's like that with tights even now.

I'm so chuffed with myself, I'm leading the Sunday school tomorrow, and I've planned it so it is completely different from the normal session, no colouring etc, instead they will be acting out the story, playing a parachute game, making and throwing paper aeroplanes. I've even made a board game we're the children will be the pieces. Should be interesting as it's my helpers first session volunteering.
Proud to be dealing with my debts

See we only have Clarks, Brantano and Start rite that measure bairns feet. I refuse to use Start rite after DH took DS2 and they sold him a £40 pair of boots that were too big meaning he fell flat on his face. They told him he could return them if he didn't get used to them (he has issues). So when I took him in that day they refused and I had to get a letter from his physio saying they were unsuitable and eventually trading standards got involved. Still never got a refund and had to go buy him Clarks boots anyway. Whereas Clarks have taken back boots when he hasn't been able to get used to them and have always been excellent.

DS2 gets his boots from Clarks, DS1 gets his shoes from brantano (which is just a big out of twon shoe shop that stocks most brands).

MFD, Sophie loves her new Giraffe, she started chewing at it straight away! Are you on commission? :p

    SJ, that sounds very organised!

Stupid Facebook groups, a couple of my friends have joined a group protesting against the building of a mosque in our town. I'm one of the least religious people you'll meet, but people have the right to worship and celebrate their faith. Not all followers of Islam are terrorists - my uncle's a school crossing man!

 Well done for sticking up for yourself though and I hope you can sort it. What do you want to happen now?

Sounds fab but be careful, they'll want you to do it every week! :rotfl:

Benjamin has been a joy today (okay - so he was a b00ger to get down for a nap and he had a major strop at one point but still..) but be warned - self indulgent mummy post below :o

We went to pick DSS up this morning whilst hubby went to move some furniture with his mate. All Benjamin said for the whole 20 mins was 'dake, dake, dake' (DSS's name).

Picked DSS up and on the way to toddle group more 'dake, dake, dake' - DSS said 'yes Benjamin' and Benjamin said 'wuv ooo' :A

No prompting whatsoever - how bl00dy gorgeously cute!!

Then at toddle group there was a trio of tiny babies in a row sleeping in their car seats - Benjamin took DSS over, crouched down, grabbed DSS's hand and pulled him down saying 'Babba ssshhh' with his finger up to his lips. Then moved alond, pulled DSS down and said 'Babba ssshhh' and then again a third time :A Bless him!

He then did actions and joined in singing to Wind the Bobbin Up, Sleeping Bunnies, Grand Old Duke of York, Ring a ring o roses, and the Hokey Cokey :T

    I love Saturdays :D

A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
