Sugar, do you know you should check against the inside of your elbow? Less chance of lip swelling...

My Dad is allergic to wasp stings... The next one will probably kill him...

BM, I fry up lamb and onions, chuck in some root vegetables and potatoes, sprinkle a lamb and a beef stock cube over the top, top up with water and a shake of worcestershire sauce... Leave it simmering for hours...

Serve with crusty bread and pickled beetroot / red cabbage...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

I do, I was raging cause Husband gave me the spoon and said, Taste this, and it was already at my mouth when he added, I think it might be off.

BTW, I'm the onehanded poster again :)

Right weezl, please can I have a proper introduction as I dont know anything about you apart from the fact you have two cute boys. And who is shirl? :A
    Hi michelle :)

    I'm a 'vintage poster' :rotfl:

I had my first baby at the same time as mel, MFD and Emlou and my second at the same time as som and Kindof.

During my maternity leave I've founded a charity with some other money savers giving me their time very generously to test my thrifty meal plans.

Bob and Shirl are the fictional couple in need of the meal planners. They have 35k of unsecured debt, negative equity and a pending redundancy.

I launched on the 6th of May and have had 190,000 page hits to date, so for a new site it's doing ok. Some of the testers you'll know from here like Tia, Aless and MDW :)

Other than that I don't have time for much else :D

    Thank you for asking me!

Can I know more about you too?

It expired, Susan, and they're expensive to replace. I probably should get one.

  • Do people here eat mince pies? I abhor them, urgh it's like something dirty in my mouth. I bet I could lose weight on the "I'm only allowed to eat mince pies diet"

Did we talk about the X factor punch? I normally don't waste my time watching that trollop, but :rotfl: at the two chicks arguing, and smacking her mate in the kisser.

    *wipes tears*

    Yes I'm childish.

Christmas - never really thought what we spend on food. My parents come here as when I was little, I hated it when we opened presents then were whisked off to relatives when we really wanted to play with our new stuff.
This is the main reason i tell everyone i am staying at home and they can visit/come for dinner. Why would you spend all that money and time esp with older kids to tell them they have to leave their new presents to go elsewhere? I usually go round boxing day and that way we have had a lovely day and can enjoy ourselves cutting plastic ties and putting batteries in :rotfl:

I love stilton on steak! its my absolute fav! i wouldnt eat it alone or on anything else though:p that sounds very scarey SS, can you not take antibiotics either?
What's for you won't go past you
