  • Jillie - Katie even now has days when she doesn't want to eat and others when she can't eat enough!

He probably has lost weight because of the cold and the teeth - it's hard to eat when you can't breath and your gums are sore.

    Have a hug.

    Michelle - (((hugs))

  • Afternoon all. I kept thinking I'd nearly caught up then there was another page.

    Hugs Angelcake :(

Yay Beanie, and well done Susan

MFD I'm sure I multiquoted you too. Will cross my fingers for your DH.

We have shopped, weighted, measured, swung and slid, travelled on the bus, and slept. Izzy is just below the 50th centile for weight and just above the 75th for height, which is pretty much the same as last time I got her weighed. There was a lady there from the sure start centre there with a load of pots and pans to bang, and Izzy made sure there were no sleeping babies :rotfl:.

Someone has just gone to get some paper and put it under my feet, then taken my socks off. I think I'm about to get drawn around/coloured in.

Maddy was born on the 10th and is now on the 8 1/2. She's soooo active so I'm not worried.

And in other news, I am feeling suspiciously similar to how I did 7 1/2 weeks ago.

    Fingers crossed :D
That's great news kindof. That's exactly what I'd do if we came into any money - pay debts off. I'd feel rich if I wasn't paying out all the repayments every month!

Thats what we are doing with any large amounts of money we get. We would be saving £50-£70 a month not paying off credit cards :)

And to those of you that chatted to her, Angelcake had a miscarriage yesterday.

Edit, I don't think she'd mind me telling you, thought it might be easier for her than having to explain when she comes on. X

:( She mentioned on the <12 weeks that her HCG level weren't rising.

In fact she's a naughty little thing at the moment, hence going out for a walk today in a bid to get a break from running around after her, phew!

What about this one? http://www.buggysnuggle.com/product_info.asp?prdID=10145&usrID=6CA2788C-0B2C-4FBF-94C5-957FE4CE580A and please don't all order one before me, lol!

Jillie, DS2 was always being 'referred to a dietrition due to lack off gain/weight loss/low centile'. It is worrying but tbh, you can't force them to eat. The only thing I did was keep him on baby milk till he was almost 2. Stage 2 not follow on (however that was to do with iron content no idea what the calorie difference is). I had to make it up and give it to him from the fridge once he got a taste for cold milk.

He is still skinny, very tall but skinny. And he is still a 'grazer'. But he does tend to eat more in the morning and afternoon, so I give him a bigger breakfast and lunch knowing that he will most likely skip or pick at his dinner. Does Kian have a favourite meal time?

Though, if he has a cold its no surprise hes lost 2oz.
  • Caitlyn was born on the 99th and dropped to somewhere around 25th by 12 months... I haven't had her weighed since her 1st birthday when she was 17lb... She never stops moving... She also looks healthy and sleeps well so I'm not at all worried :)
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Can I ask what those of you with a zia/other pram without a buggy bar use to entertain your babies? I've tried fastening his soft books on but they're not quite long enough/he's too small to reach.

Need to do tea now but I'll catch up later

    thanks TIa,
he does seem to eat more in the evening, but when he's at nursery will eat his food there no prob. i think he needs a distraction when he's eating as the other day the w/machine was on and he ate a whole cheese string without realising he had. he was too busy watching the machine

he sounds very like DH was at his age from what MIL has told me
