  • I'm back.

Doctor was happy to sign me off, considering my exisiting health issues (Type 2 Diabetes and PCOS), self certify for 7 days then ring the surgery, leave a message for her and she'll write me a note out.

A detailed diary has been kept since I returned following my disciplinary. I have a detailed background as well.

I've e-mailed the PALS lady for the hospital and am now impatiently waiting for a reply. (Have also e-mailed the NICE lady.)

footmuffs. I have a bugaboo with a bugaboo footmuff, and a mcLaren with a john lewis footmuff http://www.johnlewis.com/230498832/Product.aspx?source=14798 Its great quality and very snuggly. Not showerproof, but then I wasn't needing that.

Hope you get a chance to relax MDW. You will be aware that most lawyers offer a free 30min consultation. It proved very useful for me ;)

SS, hope you feel better soon you silly moo! DH vomits on a kiddie roundabout so we don't do fairgrounds since I don't do vomit :D

Susan, keep us updated. They do take time to reply though. If it was PALS and an official complaint, they have something like 28 or 40 days ion which to reply. I can't remember exactly how long. And if they do a proper investigation it does take that time. Very worthwhile though. How do you feel now you able to do something constructive?

OK, boys are home and playing the wii. I need to go get Amber-roo up and do some tidying up.

I am however feeling a LOT better today and I know that I have things lucky compared to a lot of people. Most of my problems are of my own making and I just need to actually do something about them. So tonight. I will be learning Cellular Respiration and making up a study.household chore chart. Or maybe plastering. But the point is, I wont be lying watching tv, I will be doing something constructive. *sniff* and I love you guys coz you're dead nice to me when I'm aw upset and stuff *kicks stones*.

tia -that's what we are all here for. I think we underestimate how much support from friends we need - especially as parents. An understanding ear to a little rant can do the world of good. Luckily we all have our down moments at different times. Can you imagine otherwise!

Tonight I will be mostly bombarding DH with the list of plans I want to make. he hates when I try to 'plan' him :D

That sounds very positive Tia, and I'm fine, it was just a bit of motion sickness, cause I am a big girl and get seasick on children's rides.

Have a good night. If it helps, my hyper organised self has daily tasks (dishes, wipe down counters, clear toys away at night, put away 10 random items), weekly tasks that happen every week (vacuuming, laundry, clean bathroom/toilet), weekly tasks for a specific week and monthly tasks. Would a format like that work for you?

It's good to think that it might make it better for others in the future but I am worried about it still being the same if the same thing happens to me again. I think I would be tempted to go to a different hospital.
