SS - Finn is a Christmas pudding hence requiring 2 lots of presents
I had really hoped she was only pretending to not understand? Hence the smiley face.
Yay, Arnie! :j
Thanks for the Xmas ideas, not too sure really. Last 3 presents have been hobby-related (airplanes), so I think I need to branch out, but still on a mega-budget. I usually think of something spiffy in the end.

Although he feeds often I think I am lucky re Thomas as he fed well an hour after the c/section in the recovery room but because of low blood sugars had to have top up feeds from a bottle which he took but went back well to bfing. The postnatal ward were OK re support but were just too busy really and I was trying to express on the ward and they had one pump, which was always being used. The SCBU were really encouraging of bfing, they had two pumps in a room and encouraging mums (and supported them) to bf, with screens in the unit - he has continued to take booby and bottle which I know can be an issue. Like some of you say no worries re the odd formula feed as does give me a break every so often!
Slept quite well last night despite the 2 hour demands, at the six feed (after two in the night!) I fed him in bed and we both must have fallen asleep as next thing I knew was 7:30 and DH was getting up for work - does worry me that I could have fallen on him. The next feed at about 8 I fed him in bed again and we both went to sleep for about an hour, I think both Thomas and I slept better together than apart. There are pros and cons to both sharing and not, we share as and when for an easy life.
Gill / anyone else who ordered the deal of the week books from booksdirectbargains, have you had your order cancelled? They haven't contacted me about it  but I notice my quidco said zero for the visit so checked the website and it says my order cannot be fulfilled or something :mad:0 -

As long as you are not on medication and you haven't been drinking then there is no reason why you should fall on him. If you put your 'bottom' arm out above his head resting on the bed (you can bend it at the elbow if you like) you will find that this acts as a kind of barrier to you rolling forward - it is not easy to roll from that position.
Not explaining myself very well. But it is getting over that rolling worry and being able to bring Benjamin into bed without any worries that was a lifesaver for me.

Hey all, I've been reading the last few days but can't remember much! Had a lovely long weekend with my Mum and step dad they spoilt us all with take aways and clothes for T
Guns I don't have an issue with as I was brought up with them and shooting animals too, but yikes 3 months is early.
Christmas shopping for T we have bought only a few things a shape sorter, some books and bath toys. Will maybe get her a few more things if I see anything but am happy to get her stuff through the year.
Huggles for poorly mums and babies.
Big hellos to new mummies:D

JM do you visit your parents or IL's regularly? we have a minuscule garden that is full of crud but visit pretty much every weekend so Chris has a bike at my mum's and at IL's a cosy coupe, trike and scooter
If anyone is interested, I think Chris's trike is soo lush coz its a retro one. Its from costco and they have them again this year but they're red this time.
Also you can just see in the background his mini arm chair which is another thing I think is fabulous, I found it on ebay (if anyone is interested I've saved the seller) and they are made to order with a choice of fabrics (inc laura ashley, Cath kidson ones) his is faux leather. IIRC both were roughly about £50 and well worth it IMO!0 -
