awww Kindof thats dead sweet, I've still got some numbers one valves sat here too KK if you want these ones too
Take away for dinner tonight, DH has gone out to play football (get him making friends LOL).....
Landen has been beautiful all day. He slept on our bed with me for ages whilst i was watching dvd's upstairs, and then he had a really sweet bath time, trying to launch himself head first into the bubbles, and then hes fallen asleep talking to himself, and he just sounds so cute
Parents are coming to stay this week, and Im having a 'mare trying to plan food shopping..... needs to feed effectively 6 people, as my dad and DH eat for two.... breakies, lunch and dinners... for 4 days..... Im trying to think of what will utilise my under-used slow cooker and steamer so that there isnt stack loads of washing up every day.....
Am also trying to figure out if the pug has hit his head or something recently because hes fallen asleep next to me, with the usb dongle sticking in his ear, and everytime i move his ear/him, he slides himself back there.... FREAK!Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
Bad mummy award goes to....Me!
I'm on my own again so had to tackle bath and put up in the cot while I was running it. He was really whingey so I sat him up, leaning against the side (yes...I know!) Of course he thrashed about and slipped down, bashing his head on the wayHe then proceeded to scream hysterically for the next ten minutes which included a pointless hasty barth...drying him....weeing all over himself....another bath to wash the wee off...dried again....argh! I don't think the crying was connected to the head banging as he did the same thing to me when DH was away on thurs.
I just want to cry nowDoesn't help that head hurts and I feel sick coz of this stupid cold/
I think he's getting too tired and we need to bring his bath and bed forward. He keeps falling asleep during his last feed. Just woken him up coz I was worried he was drowsy because he hit his head and he keeps looking up at me and seems alert so he must be ok
I'm sorry, I seem to have done a lot of self indulgent ranting these last few days..I don't cope very well on my own.Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
awww Gill hun you're doing a fantastic job with him!!!!
If its any help, we do Landens bath just after 6 (we watch coach trip lol), and he has a top up feed and then is usually in his bed at 6:30, and asleep by 6:45...
I'm sure he's ok, and it might have been the shock of hitting his head that upset him a bit.....
And theres nowt wrong with ranting, god knows i do enough of it..... maybe we can help you come up with some ideas to help your days?Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
Hugs Gill. I'm totally the same when I have to do bedtime on my own. I used to really hate it when Henry was little, and still panic sometimes now.
DH went out to get chips half an hour ago and I am starving! Speak of the devil, he's just walked in!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
GISI - Enjoy your chips....
I'm impatiently waiting on a delicious cheeseburger and chips.... nom nom nom...

What does everyone think?Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
Hi all, sorry ive not been on in absolutely AGES!! Hope u r all ok, I am not gonna attempt to catch up so if theres anything huge I have missed can someone please let me know, thank u xx
Self waffling post alert!! Had a rubbish week, Toby has been really poorly, temperature, bad diarreah, sleeping lots, took him to the hospital ro get him checked a week ago Sunday but they just gave us nurofen to take with the calpol. Took him to the docs on Tues as still mega poorly and they said he had an ear infection and prescribed amoxicillan. By Friday he was more himself and we got a phone call that evening to say they had the results of his stool sample and it turns out he had salmonella :-( TBH I didn't even realise it was still around!! He is loads better now just still quite runny poos but that's all. It's the first time has been I'll and it was horrible!!Baby Toby born 17th Nov 09 :j0 -
OMG FBB, that is really scary. I'm really glad that T is on the mend now but  at Salmonella. Sending lots of gentle hugs :grouphug:.
CAFC- I'm not sure how many regulars have signed up and how many more might want to, but the only thing that would put me off starting so early is that there may be folks graduating from the pg thread who would want to join in in a few weeks....I'm happy to be paired now though so I can start thinking.

*hugs* fattybooboo - no wonder you've not been around for a bit. So glad he's feeling more like himself now.
CAFC - tbh it's not the days that bother me as I'm used to being on my own and have lots of things to go to/people to see, it's just the evenings. DH is home tomorrow but he booked a specific train for 7pm to save the company money (!!!!!!??!!) but it turns out his course will finish at 3 or 4 so he'll have to hang around in london, then 2 hour journey to manc, then train or taxi back home from there. Well annoying he could have been home at least 2 hours earlier if he'd got an open ticket!Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh good point GISI.....
