Tara, I just looked! Well done Ben!!!!0

Am I a really mean mummy, I was just going to get Sophie some blocks and bath toys for Christmas.
I've never spent a lot on Charlotte for Christmas. It'll be a bit more this year as she'd like a bike. It costs more as they get older and discover electronics and gadgets! Here I go again on my own....0 -
I was thankfully outbid on the trouser suits I was bidding on on ebay, so with creative logic can be claimed to have saved £20. Does that give me licence to spend some of that £20?Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Tara, I just looked! Well done Ben!!!!
Felt really bad, I let him go for the try outs as I figured it was free exercise and he loves playing so it couldn't do any harm just so long as he didn't realise it was a try out as I didn't want him disappointed. Both times he came home saying the man told him he played well, I just patted him on the head and said well done but didn't think the guy actually had!Turns out I have no idea about football and he's actually very good at it. :rotfl:

Sorry for change in subject:o
And I don't want to start a breast v bottle debate please!!
Was just wondering how those who make bottles in advance... how do you do it??? Do you make up bottles of milk, cool them, stick them in fridge and warm when needed or do you just do bottles of bolied water and add formula when needed? Or do you stick to the government advice and make up each bottle freshly?;)
I make 4 bottles at a time (cos that's how many the sterilizer takes) i boil the kettle, pour the water in bottles add powder, then leave to cool on bench with lids on then put in fridge when coldDebt £30,823.48/£44,856.56 ~ 06/02/21 - 31.28% Paid OffMortgage (01/04/09 - 01/07/39)

CAFC :j for the new pram and Landen's nap!

That must make me super mean mummy as we're not getting Landen diddly.... LOLSorry for change in subject:o

We boil kettle, let it cool a bit, put into bottle, add formula, mix, leave to cool, bung in fridge and nuclear heatwave it before serving :rotfl:We make up two at a time now that we're better acquainted with Master L's feeding pattern
If we'd stuck to Gov't advice, we'd have had a screaming baby for 25 minutes whilst we faffed about making it as his feeding was so unpredictable. This way we're always covered....:TJakesmummy wrote: »I did mine the first way you just mentioned there, i made them up from boiling water, cooled in a sink of cold water then put in fridge and microwaved when i needed them, probably braking every rule therebut hey ho they were never ill! x
Just like that.....:D
KK - Welcome to the world of freakishly long babies born from midgets :rotfl: I'm 5ft an a hair width and DH is 5ft7... Landen is likely to be taller than me by the time he's 12
Oh well, I'm be a cute little shrunken grammy when im old(er)....
Landen has managed to last in the car seat of his travel system, we just moved up the straps and sit him up a bit higher in it now.... what you need is a quinny :rotfl:but seriously though. He's growth will probably slow for a bit soon, by which time he'll probs be cool in it upright :AWealth is not measured by currency0 -

Just been trying to catch up... it hasn't gone well! Hope everyones ok, sorry to hear about LO's with colds/ bugs/ etc, and bad nights sleep, etc.
Thanks everyone for the advise re: burping my little man, I have tried the different methods and it seems to be a combination that works, Theo is a lot better though so THANK-YOU
I am going to get the TT anti colic 260ml bottles as I need to order some bigger ones soonish, so again thanks for your advice. For whoever asked (sorry cant remeber who!) the mixed reviews were on Amazon but I think they seem pretty good.
We have had some good nights with Theo, we make sure he has some playtime before bed and he seems to sleep really well. He doesn't even need a dummy at night at the moment which is good (the amount of times I had to get up to put it back in!) he is growing MASSIVELY! His newborn clothes are starting to get a big snugI am a bit worried though as he has 2 inches of growing space left in his pram.. if he grows any longer I am unsure what to do! I cant really afford another pram as this one cost us £200, and its too early to have him sitting upright in the pushchair mode, I am only 5"2 I never expected a long baby!
CAFC: Just seen WELL DONE on you Quinny!! @ a gun though!!!! Families are quite worrying sometimes.. my sister (who is older than me) was trying to feed Theo malteasers yesterday... HE IS 4 WEEKS OLD!!! :eek:Debt £30,823.48/£44,856.56 ~ 06/02/21 - 31.28% Paid OffMortgage (01/04/09 - 01/07/39)
