Drop the 3am bottle 1st, then go for the 11pm in a couple of weeks. Poppie was born Feb, she hasn't had a night bottle for ages now, it was the 11pm bottle that DD dropped a couple of weeks ago.Too many children, too little time!!!0 -
I have a baby that doesn't get the concept of tummy time. She was lying there licking the mat like a weirdo :rotfl:She can actually do all the head holding etc, and has done since birth, stick on a mat and she just acts special.
She also doesn't get thumb sucking, she'll put her thumb into her wide open mouth and lick her palm.

I will be doing it soon myself;)
No I only tried for an hour, then gave in and gave him a bottle
I just dont understand how to tell if he is hungry or just wanting attention

Kindof, a baby of 6-12mths (he nearly is) should be having 750cals a day. Each 100ml milk is approx 65cals. With the night bottle, does he have a dummy?
Ah thanks for this. I was worried about Lily not hardly having any.
But i worked out she's having 944cals a day from bottles and she usually has 2 meals.
But then again, she does be sick alot...
Going to get her weighed todayredmel1621 wrote: »Yep I agree with the re-dummying strategy;)
We do that and Lily sleeps from 8pm - 7:30/8am.
Except last night, she was up every two hours crying. She had a nappy change at 12:30am and some calpol and then we just kept putting her dummy back and she slept until 8:30am
Im about to write my resignation letter to work. I dont have a clue what to write though. I might google a sample letter and just edit it0 -
Hiya
Sorry to nip in and lower the tone of the thread! Just wanted to know when its best to think about introducing the potty. I was going to wait quite a bit longer and havent really thought about it. But for the last couple of week Leila will grab me and tell me 'poo' repeatedly (in a surprised little voice) about 30 secs before she does it. Before she was only telling me afterwards. I dont want to think her efforts are going to waste so she stops telling me and then I miss a golden (or brown!) opportunity. What do you lovely lot think?

Is that right?
