I can't imagine what his parents and siblings are going through... his mother got a neighbour to get in through his bedroom window. I just didnt think it would happen to a lad of his age.
It's certainly a tragedy whatever age the person is.

I'm logging out now to watch the Great British Bake off final. I'm very excited. I hope DH isn't expecting my attention when he gets home though......................................

I now make a point of telling DH exactly what I've been up to, and pointing out to him that I've cleaned the fridge out, or done 3 lots of washing, or whatever, because if I don't point it out he will never know.
So do I. And if for some reason I've not got much done at home, I always tell him so that he knows there's a good reason why things haven't been done. (Except for two weeks ago when I didn't say anything and just expected him to cotton on to the fact that when I'd said I didn't think I should do anything too energetic I meant he should be doing certain jobs which I hadn't actually specified to him.)

I'm the opposite - I wanted to give him attention and he's gone to bed.

And did he? Or is that a silly question?

    Hi all

think I jinxed things by posting on here saying how Theo only cried for half an hour per evening but last night was 3 hours... it was awful :( we tried EVERYTHING and we started doing everything again, in the end he fell asleep following a bath and a feed. I actually think he was so exhausted from 3 hours of crying :( he has been perfect all day but I am so nervous the same will happen tonight, all I wanted to do last night was get in my car and drive off away from the crying baby... am I a terrible mother :(

Does anyone know roughly how long child benefit takes to come through from 1st application? Sent it off 2 weeks ago and not heard anything, maybe I am just impatient!

On a more positive note; had a lovely 2nd parcel off a very kind lady today :D full of lovely goodies, thankyou CAFC :D

It's been such a fab series. I love it!

Gill- sorry hun, PM sent. I thought I had replied straight away, damn baby brain. Did you see I've been earning you some swagbucks ;).

Kindof- I'll post those vests to you after work tomorrow. I haven't made it to the PO yet!

Aless- if you're around how are you feeling today? You seemed really down yesterday (understandably so) but I hope you're feeling a bit better today.

Has anyone on BP actually received an Amazon voucher yet?

No, GISI and I've redeemed two. I did send them an email about it, will check my spam account tomorrow.

If anyone's interested, Mr SS just posted an interesting breastfeeding link to my FB. And I am off to bed for quality time with my pillow. It and I have rather lost touch recently and it will be good to reconnect.
