morning
ok...
was pe'ed off with DH. I work alternate sundays so we can all spend the day together, so when he spends from 11.30am to 6.30pm in the pub he doesnt understand why its annoyed me!! i told him that it seems like he wants to spend more time in the flucking pub than he does with me and Kian  It just makes feel like crap
then when i had said earlier in the day, that my works xmas party was he was like....oh great you're working the day after so I have to look after him! it was the tone of his voice thast annoyed me. he goes out plenty on his own and yet he seems to begrudge me 1 night out with work.
MEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
rant over....for now
oh can someone tell Kian tht 6.45am is not time for getting up!!
he's meant to be having his next set of jabs today but has a bit of a cold so not sure if they wll give them to him.'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
It was down when I went to bed as well....at 00.20 ooops
Not a bad night for us, altho T woke at 3.45 which was unusual. I'm not sure if he was cold. His little hands were freezing but it was 19 degrees and he was in his 2.5 tog sleeping bag so he should have been ok. He sobbed when I put him back down and I thought we were in for a bad night...but then he decided to blow raspberries to himself instead!
We have his 16 wk jabs this afteroon....only 5 weeks later!!!! I'm dreading it but hoping it'll get him back to sleeping through!Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
Where are you from Beenie? I love it when you say mam... reminds me of my family.Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

Craig hasn't spoken to his Mam for years. The last time was at his grandparents and didn't realise she was in the garden and went out for a fag. He said "hi Mam" and she said "I don't really want to talk to you." Oh well, her loss, especially with Charlotte as she's her only grandchild.Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

Wow was the forum down all night or something?
It must have died just before 9pm. I didn't think my last message had posted, but it did!
I didn't sleep well either. Kept waking and couldn't drop off again.
Put the grill on to toast some crumpets, then Charlotte yelled down because she'd wet the bed. Went upstairs and cleaned her up, then stripped her bed. Came back down and realised the grill pan had been put back without being washed and it was on fire. Grabbed it and went to throw it in the sink, but the sink had a bowl and a pan in it. Had to put it on the bench and empty the sink first. Put the grill pan in the sink and turned the tap on, then as it went "whoosh" I remembered you are not supposed to put water on oil firesJust left it to burn itself out and no harm has been done.
So an eventful morning in the Becles household.
No plans for today. Just pottering on with housework this morning, then revision when Charlotte goes to nursery.
Have a good day all xxHere I go again on my own....0 -
Are you from the north east originally? Whereabouts?
Im north west- Mam is def a mancunian word.
Oh well, A is having a moan becuase she wants to go back to sleep. Mmm, I cant really stop her can I...Woop! Extra ZZZzzzs....
And Ive not really got a lot to do today as DH and me did a blitz on the house yesterday. I managed to sort all her stuff out- he wants to keep all her small stuff (ironic really when there is loads and its taking over her room), if we dont have another girl at some point hes in for it!
And jilie, dont worry. Its just the whole male thing. I still get DH asking me to take A everywhere with me. More out of fear really (he panics), rather than being a moron though. Hugs for you though.
And with dodgy parents... my mum still hasnt seen A, the last time she saw me was when I was 12 weeks pregnant. I dont care anymore though, its wasted energy. And when you have your own to care about, everything else goes out of the window. Please dont let things like that upset you. I always imagine my friends and family like a garden... you need to weed it every now and again otherwise the flowers get lost and you start to feel !!!!!! becuase you dont realise what youve got because of those damn moronic muppet weeds getting in the way. (I dont know where this philosophical carp is coming from.. :rotfl:please feel free to ignore and think im mental, but hopefully you should see what I mean.)First baby born 10/06/10:heartpuls 6lb 10z:heartpulsI love my little family0
