  • Afternoon all. I feel like I've not sat down for a minute today. Still loads to do too -I've got the day off tomorrow to paint the front door, so I can get things done tomorrow while it is drying, but there are some time sensative things I need to do tonight. There are loads of cucumbers need pickling, so I need to chop them up and put them in salt so we can jar them tomorrow (they need to sit in the salt for 24 hours), and I need to chop up apples to turn them into chutney tomorrow. And I need to do a tesco order, or we will all be hungry!

Plus sort out bath/bedtime, and eat food. But first, need to go take DH his shop keys, or he won't be able to lock up and will be there all night. Maybe I shouldn't bother and just leave him there :rotfl:

That is making me tired just thinking about it all!

Oh swagbucks seems to have decided I'm a bot again. Stupid website. Might have to delete my cookies and reboot later - that seems to do the trick.

Smartie - aw Daisy is gorgeous!

Not had chance to catch up - took J swimming this morning and he loved it.

Got his feet measured yesterday - he's a 3 1/2 G although they had known left in his size so couldn't buy any! But  at £28 per pair!!! Anyone know whether the Clarks outlet stores do them, like at Cheshire Oaks? (3 ;))

I can't believe my baby is toddling round everywhere now - he's not a baby anymore. :(

Right, off to serve Roast Beef (nomnomnomnomnom)

    Try and come back later

    £28 !!

i dont think i ever pay that much for my shoes

so glad MIL said she'd buy Kian's 1st pair. Think a local (well Bury) shoe shop has a shoe club. Must check it out tomorrow.

Kian has started to walk using the push along walker he got. Not in any hurry mind you, he'll walk when he's ready. and at £28 for a pair i will wait till he can walk a good bit on his own.

Got him some 'crawlies' yesterday for a bargainous £2.99!! its the first type of shoe he's let us put on.

I know it's . I go  every time I buy shoes for my lot!

However the little bones in his feet are very soft and easily damaged in a poorly fitted shoe. While it seems a lot to pay, it's worth it to have lovely feet with no problems when he's bigger.

When he's at school age, the shoes last much longer than supermarket ones, especially if they play football and stuff in them. It's false economy buying cheap shoes for active children as they just don't last. The boys have grown out of Clarks shoes that have been heavily abused for a whole school year, and they still had plenty of wear left in them!

Hope you are ok Jillie xx

Just had a huge toad in the hole for tea *yum*

On it's own is fine or you can mix it with other mushed fruit or baby rice.

Is she finds it a bit too thick on it's own, mix a bit milk in to make it a bit runny.
