Michelle, we have the Tiny Love gym & mat. Finn has pretty much used it up until a month ago, so highly recommended!! I know £50 seems like a lot, but he literally was on it hours every single day. Even when they get tired of the dangling toys (takes a few months for the to begin to play with them), it was still useful as mat for him to play on with other toys IYSWIM. The mirror is also a big hit and as he got older, he liked playing with all the bits attached to the mat too. The music does get annoying, but you learn to tune it out! It's got great reviews on Mothercare, too. HTH.top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne
would like to win a holiday, please!!

Michelle with my first little girl I payed loads for a playmat from early learning centre -I still have it but it was too small she couldn't work the squeakers etc and it was pastel coloured. I tried A on it for tummy time she was not impressed but when I tried her on Emmas patchwork quilt she loved the bright colours and spends ages staring at different bits plus its nice and big - I would say go for something washable and bright - I have pics of Ava on the quilt on fbMam 2 Big E Nov 4 & Little A June 10:happylove0

Tia - hope it goes ok
we've had a very high maintenance boy this morning. He's stupidly over tired so keeps shrieking and getting giddy. He's trying to blow raspberries and just looks so cute that all instantly forgiven lolMummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -

Michelle, it's a torment when they're feeding constantly, but I bet you feel pleased that your hard work has paid of in terms of A's huge growth spurt. :jMichelle, we have the Tiny Love gym & mat. .Oh i meant to ask, i'm going to a 4yr old girl's birthday today, and bought her this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fifi-Flowertots-Poppys-Market-Stall/dp/B000NJ1E1M £5 in Tesco (am sure it's the same one)... I think thats fine and a bargain! Sorry to hear about your neigbours, why are people such turds sometimes? I would give them a piece of my mind and they must be chavtastic to send their daughter round, the cheeky mare!

Thanks, it was the younger couple so it was just some chavtastic mate, who doesn't even live round here. Who has perfectly curled and styled har, but pyjamas on. I don't think i've ever seen any of them in normal clothes.
Decided against going round to punch her lights out :rotfl: Wouldn't look so good if i went to them to do it. So i'll wait for their next visit. In fact i might go bang to make sure that comes soon :A I am more angry that they've sent someone else again. !!!!!! has it got to do with her.
And tbh, their coming round was rather premature, i could have been putting a nail in the wall for all they know. Perfectly acceptable... But it was only two small bangs. My mam is coming over later and they're all proper scared of her, they run away when they see her coming LMAO.0 -

Hiya,
Hubby is poorlyhe was up and down like a yo-yo in the night, it seems he has some kind of stomach bug. Although last night it was manifesting itself in flu-like symptoms. He definitely wasn't himself last night - he spent the evening dozing on the sofa under a blanket which is so unlike him.
Which means that I had to cancel my brother and his family coming to visitwe haven't seen them for ages so I feel really bad but better that than pass anything on to them.
It also means that I won't be able to go and visit my friend and her new babbafor fear of taking anything over there. Benjamin and I are fine but you never know how long these things take to come out.
Benjamin just had a super strop because he wanted to share the pencil I was drawing with....well actually, he wanted the pencil and didn't want me to have it at all *rolleyes*
*Big sigh*
I have been lurking on my phone but can't remember anything but how cute and clever E is :T:Tplease listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
Off to get dressed, I'm taking Chris and Amber over to see my mum who I haven't seen or spoken too since April. Wish me luck.
Hope it goes ok.
Craig hasn't spoken to his Mam for years. The last time was at his grandparents and didn't realise she was in the garden and went out for a fag. He said "hi Mam" and she said "I don't really want to talk to you." Oh well, her loss, especially with Charlotte as she's her only grandchild.
QUOTE=MichelleM;36754029] What kind of playmats do you have?[/quote]
We just had a basic one. I'm not sure of the cost as someone my Mam works with got two and she passed the spare one on to us! It was a jungle theme with animals on and they had crinkly bits, squeaky bits, mirrors and stuff, then two bars crossed over the top with hanging toys on that did different things. Charlotte loved it and as she didn't sit up until she was 10 months, we got loads of play value from it.
Hope you are ok Beenie xx
Mam is the best word for mothers
I'm still talking like a pirate here - aarrr! Here I go again on my own....0
