Leila sat in it and ate all her lunch for the first time ever, so now i'm thinking that the rubbish highchair had alot to answer for!!
Thanks for the advice everyone xxxxx
Gah - you missed the bit where you said MFD was exactly right
I think the highchair has masses to do with how well the baby eats. Whenever Benjamin is in one of those stupid wobble about highchairs he plays up. We went to the Harvester today (my god that place has gone seriously downhill of late) and he was in a stupid highchair and after 15 minutes he was moaning and whinging to get out.
Both kids LOVED ThinkTank :T:T we even did the Planetarium for a 10 minute show and Benjamin was very well behaved and suitably impressed. Although at one point I thought my train-mad boy would never come away from the window because he had spotted the railway line nearby!!
Hope everyone is okay - beautiful pics.please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

I agree. The boys had those ones that convert to a table and chair, they sat upright and ate very well. Amber has used the anthill, the woodline and those wooden ones when out. The only time she has ever huffed and messed about was in one of those graco ones. She kept trying to sit up and slid back. If I didn't know her I would have said she wasn't hungry, she was doing all the 'not interested in food' things. But I knew she was and it was just the highchair.0 -

Although I think it is to do with hating being strapped down as well, since he doesnt like to be fed in his pushchair if we're out and about either!
I am still tempted to try the antilop, as we've used it a couple of times in ikea and some cafes and he's been fine each time, but I really dont think he will be in it for much longer if I do get one and I think I'd be better off putting the money toward a proper little table and chairs?
Well I still dont have a oven or even a hob. Well I do but its not connected to the gas yet. Grr. Thank god for the microwave!! It got shut off Tuesday and we've been struggling ever since. The gas dude is coming this Tuesday to connect it, I've never been so excited about something coming into my house and pesting around :rotfl:Mummy to

Incase anyone wants to know, approved foods are doing a case of lemon and coriander cous cous for 1p. It is dated best before some point last year, so no idea what it will be like, but worth a try for 1p.

Em - how about an Antilop without the tray so you can just pull it up to the table?
I would be well peed off with having no cooker or hob
I am thinking of asking my SIL to cut Benjamin's hair tomorrow...but I am not sure I want to stop him looking like a baby yet...please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
