I forgot to say that camping was good. It only got down to 8 degrees overnight (according to OH's outdoor sensor) and we were all warm and toasty with sleeping bags and duvets. Alice's random crying in the middle of the night did disturb us though so I was glad we weren't at a campsite.

I was wondering how your camping went earlier. Did Alice enjoy it?

We used to camp in my Nan & Grandads back garden all of the time when I was little. Just me and a friend - i'm not sure i'll be allowing any of mine to camp in the garden alone, ever!

Aside from the random crying fit in the middle of the night she loved it. She took a while to settle down to sleep because she was so excited. I made the mistake of calling her "Little Miss Wriggles" because she was wriggling around the tent so much so then she started wriggling even more saying, "I'm wriggling because I'm Little Miss Wriggles."

I think it probably depends on location and age as to whether it's okay to let them camp on their own.

I'm parent facing this time with a Joolz but I miss having a proper shopping basket/rubbish dump how do other joolz owners manage? | have i candy apple envy and am watching a few on ebay - my name is saleshopper and i'm a pramaholic.

I just shove things in the changing bag, but when i go for a few bits at Morrisons i put the heavy stuff in the basket, and tie the rest onto the handles in the carriers. The other day i had loads of milk and tins so i tied the bag of tins under the seat unit and it sat on top of the basket if that makes sense?

I thought i'd miss having a basket but i don't, and i'm always in and out of the car so it's better for me to not have loads of crap to unload before i fold it up :rotfl:

iCandy Apple - don't do it!!! It would feel like pushing a tractor after having a Joolz. Try one out first, they're awful. Especially for younger babies - you'd need the snug thing for the seat unit cos Amber wasn't comfy at all at 6 months ish.

im trying to grow a lemon tree in my corrie style backyard....its not going so well.....LOL

My great-Nana grew a lemon tree from a lemon pip. It never had any lemons on it, but it stood by her sitting room window for years.

    Lovely pics today.

Pleased Alice liked camping. The boys have a tent and sleep in our garden sometimes, but I've never joined them as I like my comfy bed too much :o

Plenty of fruit grows wild here - cherries, raspberries, plums, apples and blackberries. I send the bairns out with carrier bags and it saves buying fruit :D

Busy day and I'm tired now. Worked in the garden all afternoon as the weather was beautiful. Sunderland were on the TV at 5.30pm, so we watched that. It was a good match and I enjoyed it.
Here I go again on my own....

We had a fabby day. It was doors open day today so we went to the fire station and saw the not so sexy firemen putting out fires El thought it was great altho she did get a scare when they set the first fire.
We then went to the funfair that is at the local park at the moment (Caz if your here the funfair is back at caird then moving to riverside) and El had a great time.
    Hope everyone is well
