Daniel's great too.
Although my heart broke today as this is the first time in about 4 weeks it's been me and Daniel on our own, when Hubby went to work this morning he came over to me sat on my knee said "Daddy Gone" and then started crying
Think he was better after his 3hr nap, mummy felt alot better for it too.Mummy to D born 21/04/09 and S born 09/05/120 -
She seems to have forgotten about it since we went to the Giant's Den this morning. (I'd already planned to take her there so she could work off some energy without me having to be energetic - it wasn't related to the trampoline incident.)got-it-spend-it wrote: »I've been thinking of you too Susan. SS, just being nosy really, do you speak to Molly in both German and English?
I'm also wishing I could be as organised as you. I feel like I should just be doing so much more around the house, but get in such a mess and don't even know where to begin. My natural inclination for procrastination then takes over and I wind up doing the bare minimum.

Oh god, how utterly sweet and heartbreaking
Hubby is away tonight and Benjamin went down fine but has woken a couple of times...when I have been up to him he has been pointing out the door saying 'dadda?'

I was just going to ask if I was the only one who didn't cry when watching it - I was beginning to think I must be really weird or something. My impression was that the career mum was having a baby because that's what you do and it's another "achievement" so to speak rather than that she really wanted to have one. And I thought Tigs and Marley were lovely.MadDogWoman wrote: »ETA: I rushed back from Pizza Hut to watch CHAB, no tears, but career mum had me , but that's because she's the polar opposite to how I am.Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

In all honesty I could probably do with those sorting too :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: We clearly spend too much time discussing bodily functions here as I thought of the wrong kind of gas when I first read this.

Me and dh are both looking for work atm and I have seen a job that looks good, hours and pay seem decent.....however i am being stubborn and don't want to apply for it as I want to be at home with the kiddies, I want dh to get a job, or at least get one first!! I feel like I am cutting my nose off...etc... but feel quite strongly about this and tbh work has been a source of tension and argument between us since the year dot!!
However, if i don't go for it and miss out on it, i will probably kick myself at a later date!! I really don't know what to do.....
Not really after answers, just musing and getting it 'out'
xx
Why not go for it and see what happens? Updating your CV is always a useful exercise, interviews are generally good practice and then you can make a decision if/when you get offered it.
Susan- I totally know what you mean, and I know I was massively grateful for the online support I got when I miscarried as I didn't tell anyone in RL for the same reasons as you.
Hugs Jillie. It will be really hard for you and OH but take some comfort in having Kian's bday to focus on x x:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator

Yes definitely, didn't sound like she was bothered at all. How very sad.
Susan I didn't like to ask either but glad you are as ok as you can be in the circumstances.
GISI thanks for the idea a while ago about hot chocolate on a stick, I just had a go at a "recipe" to see how it tastes for when I make the gift ones for Christmas. It was very nice!
EA if you're about, I almost commented on your fb about morning sickness but stopped myself as I wasn't sure if you had announced anything as yet.0 -
Susan - have you ever been to the Forbidden Corner? It is THE most wonderful family day out...although it might be for kids a little older than Alice. It is a magical place though. We went 3 or 4 years ago now and we still talk about it regularly now.
Edit - here it is - I would THOROUGHLY recommend it to anybody.please listen to MFD - she is a wise woman
