I thought career mum did want a baby, but was in for a big crash down to reality when it arrived. I felt sorry for her actually, she had it all planned out but clearly had no experience of children or was too stubborn to listen to others experiences. I think she thought she could pop it out, lie down for a week and then go back to work and just see it at weekends and evenings. I bet she felt bad deep down going back after a week really. I wanted to see a bit of a "one year later..." kind of thing from her.Mummy to

EA if you're about, I almost commented on your fb about morning sickness but stopped myself as I wasn't sure if you had announced anything as yet.
No haven't announced yet
We are waiting until 12wks, but i've booked my early scan for 13th october because im very paranoid.
Why were you going to say that? Was it about the hot chocolate?
I seem to of gone off chocolate like last time, i went to shakeaway earlier and had a fresh strawberry milkshake.
That is so unlike me :rotfl:

Me too.
When I read the post this morning about not putting the washing out and having a convenient excuse to use the dryer instead, I thought the real Susan had been kidnapped and replaced with an imposter. :rotfl:
On the waiting til you're married subject, I also think it's incredibly rare. In my RL friends/family/colleagues (who you'd speak to about such stuff) I only know of one couple who'd never dtd with anyone else, and waited until they were married. The she of the couple was early 30's too. The male was 23 so hadn't had to wait so long! :rotfl:when Hubby went to work this morning he came over to me sat on my knee said "Daddy Gone" and then started crying
That's so sweet, and sad.
I've read back - but can't remember anything else.
A dull day here. We had electricians in replacing the electric meter, some dodgy plugs and replacing outside lights. So V & I have had no electricity for most of the day. We spent the day cleaning L's and our bedrooms. Me cleaning and V helping by emptying drawers and cupboards.

Hubby is away tonight and Benjamin went down fine but has woken a couple of times...when I have been up to him he has been pointing out the door saying 'dadda?'
