    Evening everyone,

Hugs all round, especially Susan who I also didn't want to pester.

I've read back but can't remember word.

    Work Update:
I don't work with boss directly but he does own the company. It's weird as I've had the time of my life at work as boss/owner is sooo hacked off he couldn't get rid of me, he's been having a go at other staff in my hearing making cracks about checking his rights and stuff, I had to stuff my hand in my mouth at one point at what he was saying to stop myself laughing.

I am being punished though, been moved again so I'm constantly in view of one of the managers, I don't have a phone so I can't answer any phone calls (which is lovely).

Oh also if I have to do anything out of the ordinary (even if I've always done it) I'm asking if it's OK if I do it - shouldn't take long for it to start annoying them.

My warning letter is a complete joke, the person that wrote is has obviously never heard of Google!

JM  at insurance quote - my nephew 19 pays £1400 for an R Reg as main driver, but he can't drive the car between 11pm and 5am, the insurance company even fitted a tracker to the car, he has to pay a surcharge if he drives between these times.
Proud to be dealing with my debts

 really, ive never heard of anything like that, OH is 26 too so not like he's a teenager, my bro passed his test a few months ago, he's 19 and cant get a car because he cant afford the insurance, maybe its a goverment sneaky tactic to make more people use public transport:think:!

That would be me - I felt like I've been asking too many personal questions lately :o

And I agree that you're worth the worrying.
:o But thanks. Do you mean you think you've been asking me too many personal questions or just people in general? Either way I hadn't noticed.

  • I've been doing insurance quotes too JM, they're shocking aren't they!! Have you tried adding yourself as a named driver? My instructor said that can lower the quote... I think I'm going to be going third party only for the first couple of years... But then I doubt any car I own would be worth more than the insurance excess anyway lol...

  • Insurance is a minefield, age, postcode, car, experience, no claims, marital status, number of dependants, where vehicle is kept during the day and at night all have a bearing on the quote.

I think it's a specific young drivers insurance, but I don't know the company name, it could be something to suggest to your brother.

My nephew has just had to pay out £900 to get his car through it MOT, all his summer job earnings!

The time restriction is because research has shown that the majority of young male drivers crash during these times.

ETA: I rushed back from Pizza Hut to watch CHAB, no tears, but career mum had me , but that's because she's the polar opposite to how I am.
