I was wondering how you are Susan, physically and emotionally. You said something this morning about not wanting to put the washing out, it struck me as 'incredibly rare' (;)) for you to say something like that and I have been thinking about you all day xxx

I hope you don't mind me asking. Feel free to ignore me.
Thanks for thinking of me and it's very sweet of you to ask. I just feel really exhausted even though I haven't been doing much. I'm very glad I stocked up with food etc. as it means there is less essential work to do and keep track of.

ETA: I hope I didn't make you really worried?

  • So I thought my sneezing was due to dusting this morning but now I'm thinking I'm starting with a cold as Alfie is the same, keeps sneezing and has a really runny nose. Doesn't seem to be bothering him apart from leaking more than usual from mouth, nose and eyes! He's in bed now and I'm hoping it won't keep him awake.

Aww I can hear him spluttering through the monitor now :(

Em did you manage a bath for Seth? Sounds like a nightmare at yours with no water, hob or oven! I would absolutely be demanding a take out by way of compensation ;)

Kindof, I'd be tempted to arrange a night out of my own too.

You deserve a bit of worrying about :A

I guess I was just thinking because I felt like I should have asked you this morning. I am willing to bet that there are others who have been thinking about you too but not wanting to ask...

I hope your hubby is doing okay too x

That would be me - I felt like I've been asking too many personal questions lately :o

And I agree that you're worth the worrying.

    Hi all, hope everyones well.

Went to my BF counsellor meeting today, I was dreading it; the counsellor phoned me the other day saying that me just expressing was unnatural. I met her today, purposely didn't take Theo with me (I really cannot be doing with the stress of attempting 'proper' BFing, Theo cries... as do I) and she asked where he was, so I explained to her that I had made my decision; to exclusively express feed with formula for top ups and thankfully she was v supportive and said what an amazing thing I was doing. She gave me lots of advice on keeping up my supply and recommended pumps as the hospital took the pump back that I had borrowed. I am going to stick to my manual TT pump for the time being (me and OH worked out how much we need for bills this month, he is out of work and I am only getting basic SMP and we just cant afford the expense of a pump atm!)

Thanks everyone for your advice re: expressing and pumps! :)
