Kian has the smart trike and he loves it. cos it will do till he's 3-4 (depends on his height) its a really good deal. Kian has this one http://www.mothercare.com/Smart-Trike-Plus/dp/B001OA0LHM/sr=1-2/qid=1284318828/ref=sr_1_2/277-3228566-5096107?_encoding=UTF8&m=A2LBKNDJ2KZUGQ&n=42764041&mcb=core'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0

No experience of that problem here Em, but what Tia said - I have heard similar stories from other people, I think there's a condition which can occasionally require very minor snipping surgery to alleviate... not necessarily full circumcision. But very much get it checked out if it's not getting better by itself! Unnerving.
Garden chairs - embarrassed myself slightly at E's birthday barbecue by sitting down heavily 'from a height' into a plastic chair and cracking a slat - so switching to another and doing the same....
I am quite big and heavy but not unusually so, honest! 0 -

CAFC - We struggled to use T;s doorbouncer coz we could only use it if we were both in. We've got a hop n pop for Thomas but if you have the space a jumperoo would be better.Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0

Those of you with 2 kids (or more) of the same flavour - any suggestions for a good new baby gift?
One of my mummy friends had a second baby girl last week (her eldest was 2 in July) and I don't really want to buy clothes/books/toys because they have everything from the first babba.
I am completely bereft of ideas....
Also - do you think that it would be a good idea to buy the 2yo a little something for when we visit?please listen to MFD - she is a wise woman

I think I went on holiday just after all the talk of homemade goodies. Has everyone been making lots of lovely things?got-it-spend-it wrote: »I am also because MIL has brought me a load of kilner jars, bramley apples and green tomatoes.

Thank you, and thanks SS for mentioning it earlier. I've just placed an order so that's a couple more Xmas presents and a birthday present sorted, all for under £6.Choppy the book deal is here https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/36362041#Comment_36362041
Maz - the cake looks yummy. We had a huge glut of courgettes this year. It was the first time I'd grown them and all four plants yielded quite a lot. I've chopped them and put them in the freezer for pasta sauces and such like. I think they'll be too soggy for cake though once defrosted.0 -
suppose it depend on how she's been previously, Ed is 15mths and still got a couple of months growing room at least (prob more like 4mths in next onesBig hugs to poorly mummies and babies. Stinkersaurus is finally in bed and I am productively looking at fleecey sleepsuits (for Fartacus Maximus) and waterproof coats (for me) on ebay.
Do you think it's worth getting a couple of 9-12 month fleece sleepsuits? The Next ones all seem to run too big for her and I don't want her getting chilly cause she's too small for the 12-18 month ones, but there again she's already 13.5 months and I don't know how long she'll need them for.

He has been weeing fine, no sign of anything weeping in his nappy or anything and they are still getting quite chunky as they do when full of wee! OH thinks he has been either bouncing too vigourously on his new bounce and spin zebra (the purpleness was there before we went to get the zebra so god knows where that logic is coming from, but ho hum he is male!) or he thinks he may have yanked it too hard at nappy change time and bruised it!!My_Fathers_Daughter wrote: »Ouchee - sounds painful Em. Hope it is something easily resolved. Has he been weeing okay?
Benjamin keeps getting a little stiffie when I change his nappy - he thinks that it is hilarious :rotfl::rotfl:
It feels quite hard and swollen so I guess its possible, not knowing much about the way these things work I'm just not sure!
Primark are doing toddler jeans for £3, I bought 2 pairs in each colour and put one pair away and took one pair up! I dont mind that he will grow out of the taken-up pair sooner at that price:money:My_Fathers_Daughter wrote: »They keep on having them SS! in August we spent a small fortune on clothes for DSS and he has shot up and his trousers are short already :mad:
I need to sort Benjamin out with some 18-24 month trousers - he has plenty of pairs of shorts but he can't really wear them now
