Susan, I didn't know that about quinoa. Wish I had 19 months ago! I do hope you, Alice and DH have a lovely day out.

CAFC - I know the feeling re: photos. I still get upset when I see photos of new babies in mummy's/daddy's arms :( Can't change that so no use crying over it!!! :D Bu ti have th same problem now she's bigger - I'm the photographer in our family ;) But I have found the timer function on my own camera now and I use that sometimes ;) So no more excuses!

    Secret squirrel question......

P.S I've written something.... I'm not entirely sure how good it is....but I kinda feel like it's something that doesnt get written about a lot/appears very much. How do you go about asking someone to print it, like a magazine or something?

  • Could you find a 'respected' blog on the subject and approach them about publishing it, CAFC? I mean one that has a lot of followers/is an authority rather than an individual's just for fun blog. Not sure about magazines, but I guess emailing them with an outline of what it is would be a good start.

Thanks Rmac and everyone else who has responded to my rant. I would imagine it is a common problem of part time working, and I'll just stick with it for now and see how it pans out before raising it.

CAFC, not sure what you've written, but if it's something you'd normally see in a magazine it may be worth checking out their websites for submissions. Good luck!

well i was aiming for just a therapeutic release, but then halfway through I was writing it to myself to try and frame it in a more positive light, and then I thought hmmmm maybe other people who had the same could do with reading it, maybe it would help them too....
