King-size, or superking?
Breathe, Bruno. Everything will be ok.
I'd say super king because we got one and it wasn't much more work in terms of weight and assembly - plus you get all the fun of both babies piling into your bed for morning sit-ins
But if space is going to be a concern then a king size.
If you're worried about expense there are some good bed cashback offers on Quidco, or I would begrudgingly recommend the place we used - they were a nightmare coordinating with the international courier but £300ish cheaper than the next cheapest, and we have an OBC frame and Sealy mattress.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Just got back from hospital. Eventually had a scan and it turns out that I have had a miscarriage. The good news is that it was complete so no treatment needed. Please don't post any sympathy/condolences - thanking this post will be enough.
I'm actually more upset by the way I was dealt with than by the fact that I had the miscarriage which brings me on to a question:
After having the scan and being told I had miscarried, we were then sent to wait in a public waiting room where we were for an hour before the nurse decided to send me home because there were no doctors and she felt it was unfair to make me stay and wait for one when there wasn't any real need. Now we were okay and able to cope with it but I would have expected that when you tell someone they have lost a baby you would then leave them somehwere private rather than in a public waiting room. I'm thinking of making a complaint because I would hate to think they are doing that to other people who maybe are less able to cope with it but just wanted to check I'm not being unreasonable?Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

(((hugs))) Susan, I can't believe they've told you to go back through A&E! You should be able to go straight up to the ward. That's what I did and that should be what they told you - I hope you get it sorted.Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

Susan - I hope you are okay.
I think a letter highlighting your concerns may be appropriate. But I think you should put yourself and your family first at this time and take care of yourselves before worrying about others.

Susan and Bruno. What MFD said. She knows her stuff that woman.
Susan a complaint letter would be a good idea, but not today. And you know where we are if you need us! (not that I expect you need help with a complaint letter - I know you are good at themIsabella Molly born 14th January 2009

I'm not planning to write the letter for at least two weeks - I just wanted to check I didn't have unreasonable expectations.Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

Susan, you are very gracious to be thinking of others.
It does sound like a very insensitive approach to the situation. It wouldn't be unacceptable to write to the hospital, as your treatment seems to have been not very good in general.

No, I don't think a little sensitivity and privicy in your situation is an unreasonable requirement. It seems to be a very basic one to me.
