Oh sweetheart Susan, you must be so worried. I wish I could give you big hugs.

Did they do a urine test? My bleeding at ~9-10 weeks was pretty scary but it turned out to be the fault of a nasty UTI.

    Thinking of you.
They did take a sample on Friday so I presume they checked for that. I also checked yesterday (I have some full spectrum urine dipsticks) so I'm fairly sure I don't have one.

OH is just putting together a packed lunch before we go so now Alice is really excited that we're having a "picnic lunch". (Although she's hoping we'll go to Beamish even though we told her we're going to the hospital again.)

(((hugs))) Susan, I can't believe they've told you to go back through A&E! You should be able to go straight up to the ward. That's what I did and that should be what they told you - I hope you get it sorted.

Re: sleep, Caitlyn doesn't sleep very much through the day - only really if we have a longish walk in the pushchair or if we go out in the car. She'll probably have about half an hour when I feed her later.

I hope it's one of those inexplicable inconvenient non-dangerous things Susan. Keeping you in my thoughts.

We now have a working washing machine again, a great relief - the first of our Laundry Mountain is now percolating away. But it was a blockage and so not covered by our guarantee - over €100 to get rid of a ball of hair and some old cable ties

  • susan, hope they get you sorted and that everything is ok xx

mel, my girl is already so nosey at 3 weeks, feel like she thinks shes gonna miss something really exciting if she goes to sleep so will pretend and as soon as i go to put her down opens that one eye to see whats going on and gives me a really disapproving look! my boy would just feed then sleep for 4 hours no matter if the house was falling down, i think girls are a bit weird! (or maybe its just mine)

sales, glad they were nice to you at clinic, sometimes they seem to get so hung up on lines and centiles they don't seem to see the bigger picture.

michelle, happy birthday and i'm laughing at you and the monkeys (sorry)

sorry can't remember anymore but hugs and yays (think there was a tooth?) as required.

does anyone have any bright ideas how i can get ds wiping his own bum automatically? he always shouts FINISHED after having a poop and unless you tell him hes got to do it himself he expects you to do it for him, he's more than capable but this is gonna come up at school at some point i imagine.

well we were supposed to go to baby swimming but its cancelled as somethings wrong with the pool so off to meet a work friend for some scrummy lunch.

I so did not copy & paste this morning to make up my 10 posts! :o

    Happy Birthday Michelle. :D

Becky I remember my friends little one for years shouting down the stairs 'MUM, wipe my bum!". I'm sure he did it til he was 7ish. (He's 13 now and does it himself :rotfl:)
But, he could do it at school no problem - he was just a lazy bu66er!
Have you got wet wipe style tissues?, because even when they can do it, they're not very good at it.

SJ - we probably won't get that long out of it now but our bedroom is 21 degrees plus every night atm with windows open so a thicker one would be too warm atm. Ideally I need one today as he kicks his covers off if I put him in sheets. (I only had the one lightweight bag and just washed it on hoit days) I dont think it will dry in time. Asda just have thicker ones.

DH put some of that new ariel stain remover in with the washing and it foamed up so much that it leaked all over the floor! The wash has now finished and it's still full of foam! I'm going to have to put it back on rinse I think! DH talked me through what he did and it sounds ok but it doesnt do this for me!

I dont know how much it cost but E got a present and it was a sainsburys TU one and its 1.5 tog, we have to use that too cos Es room is usually 22 but last night was 24!!!!

Thats weird about your washer lol oops

I hope everything is ok Susan

She had a bad tum yesterday (hence the grumpiness) and still seems to have it a bit today:(
