somn - I would use/try ready brek - there are no 'nasties' in it. My LO used to love it. Now she is on weetabix :D

Sugar - Becles is right - Try not worry about food intake too much. I have a LO who is not at all motivated by food. I would suggest feeding her things like cheese, adding extra dairy to her purees etc, but she'll eat when she's hungry. LO is very up and down. Some days she can't get enough and others its like I'm trying to poison her :rotfl: I think its a girl thing ;) all the boys we know shovel food at a rate of knots!

gill - a 6-18 month one will possibly still be useful at the start of next summer, but I would think about sticking it out for a month or so with covers, by that time it will be cold again! Or use a winter one with ust a vest on? Best of luck whatever solution you come upwith.

  • They are real monkeys, but they don't come near you. They just wander around in the forest and play and they do feeding demonstrations. It's ace!

I can't remember the figures but apparently their appetite does decrease because they aren't growing quite so quickly any more. Also appetite can vary wildly (Alice's still does) so it is better to consider food consumption over a week rather than looking at it on a daily basis.

That makes sense. L still seems to eat more than her body weight some days, then hardly anything somedays.

V slept from 6.45 last night, until 5ish when I suspect OH woke her up, but she went back off and got up at half 8.

The difference yesterday was that she didn't nap in the day at all. Maybe she just doesn't need day time sleep?!?

I'm going to finish my ironing this morning, before meeting lovely Mel, K & T later. :D

MFD, are they the same type of monkeys as on Gibralter? They were so cheeky they terrified me. :(

Stupid hospital. They said if the bleeding got worse or I was concerned, I should ring the ward. OH just rang them and they said I have to go through A&E again rather than direct to them so now we have to go and waste a million years sitting about in A&E again. What was the point in them giving us their number if they won't deal with me directly.

    Hi all :)

Michelle - if you're terrified of monkeys then it won't make any difference just knowing they won't come near you, if I had to go through a forest full of spiders and was assured they wouldn't come near me there'd still be no way on earth I'd do it!

Caitlyn is currently reading the tesco direct book :) We're having a lazy day today. It's wet outside and we have no plans to go anywhere. Well, only to fetch DS from school later.

  • Oh Susan :( That is rubbish. Stupid ward people. I'm sure you won't have to wait too long at this time of day though.

We're off to messy play now, but just before I go, is anyone else having problems with facebook today? I can't see my live feed, so it is only showing me messages from months ago. Stupid thing.

I'm chuckling about the monkeys OH loves them and if we weren't so far away I think he would go. We went to Blackpool zoo and they have a walk through area with marmasets ( i think - little monkey like creatures anyho) they jumped in Emmas buggy fortunately oh was carrying her and picked up his v expensive camcorder to get at the crumbs of popcorn underneath. They took a packet of softmints out of a ladies backpack too - I was terrified but Emma's buggy had a good clean lol.

A got weighed yesterday and has put on enough that they aren't worried about her so I don't have to go again for a month. Different women and was much nicer actually made conversation and enquired about general things rather than just the percentile line. Thanks for the reassurance from this forum as always you were all right.

    Hope u r ok Susan
