Thanks Becky - I can only lay claim to the mad blonde one though, the other is my DSS. He is a lovely lad and I thoroughly enjoyed having him with us (the first time we have taken him abroad).
How's the wee one? And did your bigger one just start school? I was lurking from Santorini but not paying enough attentionplease listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

Love it
Charlotte has got that wooden clock! It came from Tesco and only cost a few quid, but it's the most played with toy that we've had. She learned to read numbers and count with it. Might be something to put on people's Santa lists
All the time! Today we've had a story about a bus driver that climbs trees in the woods out the back to keep an eye out for naughty giraffes. Then later we had a story about Jack getting covered in enchilada sauce and having to wash himself in the stream.
She also changes the lyrics to songs. At the moment it's Katy Perry's Calafornia Girls, but she sings "Calafornia Bob, he's eating sausages" :rotfl:
She talks about herself in the third person all the time while she is playing. She'll say things like "Charlotte is going to play in the sand now. Actually no, Charlotte is going on the slide instead." She blethers on like that constantly and it's funny listening to her.
I'd be cross about that too. That's no way to encourage a child to do their work. Hope you get something sorted out tomorrow. I'd go in calm but firm too rather than raging.
James had a good first day at school and enjoyed it. He talked about it none stop at the tea table about different friends he has made and different teachers. He was giggling his head off as he's got a teacher called Mrs White who is black and a Mrs Blackie who is white
I think her gran got her the clock ages ago, it goes well on the kitchen, as you can see ,the numbers are in the right place
Charlotte sounds so cute, I forgot Keira used to speak about herself in the third person :rotfl:I think she did it for about a year. Keira want juice! It's funny the things you forget.
On the note of Katy Perry, I heard her singing a song in her room when Ellie was over "I kissed a girl and you liked it, tasted like curry rice" and then to the same kinda tune "I killed my mum with a kniiiiife, for real, and she died, not pretend" Cue me shouting through "OI" and she said "It's just A TEND!!"
Is Charlotte at nursery soon Beccles?0 -
