Welcome back MFD. But awww for poor Benjamin. :(

Has Bruno popped in today? How's Mrs Bruno? And how is the sleeping in the big boy bed going?
I'm getting a little bored with sitting upstairs for an hour minimum. every night trying to get V to sleep in her big girl bed. :( Plus i'm not sure what time it happens, but every morning she's in with us. :(
I've been up there since half 7 tonight. OH went up to take over about 15 minutes ago and she doesn't look like she wants to go to sleep any time soon.

  • Velour sleepsuits are sweaty IMHO. You want fleecy ones because they let the body breathe more.

    Thanks MFD, will start looking.

Off to bed now, still in a rage but now it's just a simmering one. Husband just suggested a month in the US sometime next year, sounds great but he's insistent that he wants to hire a tiny plane and fly us around and won't listen to the basic premise: I am sh*t scared of those tiny little planes and don't want to be in one, EVER, and no amount of him telling me how safe they are will change my mind because just the thought of it makes me want to cry.

I didn't because she never liked it on the three times we used it, and we'd end up getting her to sleep before putting her in! :(

Sami It's times like this that I think if I was still feeding her, a bit of boobie would solve all our problems. :o:p

  • Arrggghhhh! Frickin site ate my post.

S-M: I would never do that to any child and I work in a secondary school. Did she do it in front of the whole class? Can you imagine how degrading that would be? I would have serious words with her teacher and then with the head. Did she even give your daughter a 2nd chance? All childen deserve at least one warning before going over the top and ripping pages out of her book. Im sure if she asked your DD, the cow would have realised that she was aleady aware that she hadnt done the work. She could have just asked her to do it tonight and then bring it in the next day before punishing her in such a humiliating way. And what does it teach her about wasting paper? Every time you make a mistake, just rip a page out of your book! COOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWW!
