I didnt think of that? I must say though thats Erins words are very clear and she picks things up very quick. The nursery have ref him bach to speach therapy as Erins talking is so much better than Charlies? i will be watching more closely when they play to see if they do communicate and i havent noticed? That's great that Erin is picking them up to as it means there's someone else who can understand him to some extent. You never know - she might be picking up other signs he uses which you don't understand.
Going with something you know is a good idea! But getting into something you dont know is very exciting and could change your mind in what you would eventually like to do!Speaking off college. I need an idea for my big project. It should be relating to biology and the human body, usually a disease or condition that requires treatment. And if it could be tied into another project on the business side, that would be great. So far, I'm thinking of infertility and treatments, simply because yet again, I've been looking at Embryology as a career and neighbour are thinking about ICSI again and I said I'd look into it. Either that or Plagiocephaly but I feel that would be a cop out since I have more than enough stuff to do a half hour talk already and I wouldn't be doing much research. It would look good, but I know I wouldn't have done the work (recently). Might spark my interest in prosthetics and orthotics again though? I'm also having to decide on a Uni course! lol
Nobody has to reply btw, I'm just playing with ideas

I wouldn't have thought the class teacher would know about what he'd eaten - I used to eat my lunch, have a short break and then prepare for the afternoon's lessons in my lunch break. I never even knew what the meal options were never mind what or whether any individual child ate.Jakesmummy wrote: »little bit annoyed with J's school but dunno if im being unreasonable, at the moment they are having a lot of building work done so you cant pick them up outside their classroom as you normally would, all of the school has to come out of the one door and when the teacher sees you coming your child is just sent out and you dont get a chance to ask how they've been, whether they'v ate ect ect, i wouldnt mind if he hadnt only just started...and cos its so hectic everyone coming out the same door you cant get the teachers attention again! i asked him what he had for dinner and he said he couldnt remember!! Plus to drop them off I have to walk through the school which involves 2 small sets of stairs which is a pain with the pram!! i'm not too fussed about that though i think i'l just unclip her and leave the pram outside but i'd quite like to know if he's been ok though:o think i'll have a word tomorrow just dont want to look like the annoying mum!! (what i really wanna say to em is why didnt you do the bl0ody building work in the holidays instead of starting now and disrupting everyone lol, but i wont ha!!)Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

That is ridiculous. If the baby was admitted, the mother would be allowed to stay with her so I don't see why it's not the same the other way round. Is it supposed to be a "Baby Friendly" hospital? If you don't mind saying what hospital it is, I'll e-mail them enquiring about their policy and reasons for it.
thankyou for the offer but to be honest i was looking for any excuse not to go in as spent half my pg there and five days last week too. I actually work at the hospital occasionally and know who the consultant of the sho is so might just have a word with them as not sure i want to go about raising an official complaint. Looking back I think if i'd made more of a fuss would probably have eventually been allowed but when i'm feeling rubbish i tend to go a bit to pieces, anyway am rambling now so will stop moaning!!0 -

TIA. J's primary school did a makaton course for parents but it was just half an hour for four weeks. Tbh, we've picked up more from Mr Tumble and books. L picks it up much more than me, it must be her young brain.
CAZ. I forgot about the sambucca story! She does worry me sometimes as most of her stories are quite believable! When she was at nursery, her report said her speech was brilliant, and they love hearing her stories about home! I was too afraid to ask.:beer:0
