Evening all,
Today has been tough on me and babbaAfter 10 days of 24/7 mum and son time being apart was hard, Benjamin cried real tears when I left him (with his daddy!) this morning and cuddled me for about 10 minutes when I came home which is unheard of. We also had a bit of a bedtime trauma so I was back to singing 'Twinkle Twinkle' up the stairs to him.
We had a fab holiday but my babba got blood and has a scarHe was running and slipped on a piece of paper and banged his mouth and head on a table and then the floor. He bit a big slice out of his tongue and it bled like crazy and damaged his top lip too - not a good sleeping combination for a baby who sleeps with a dummy
A bit of calpol gave us a couple of hours sleep but nearly a week later Benjamin still has a deep gash in his tongue, which looks healed but is still there. I do hope it heals back together again, he is too young to be collecting war wounds.
Hope everyone else is well

Michelle - We use pampers and I find that the best buy is usually when Boots have their 2 for £14 promotion, or when morisons did the 1/2 price promotion (if you could get the sizes). Be careful of the boxes, often they don't work out cheaper. Boots also gain advantage points too
Thanks. They were sold out in Boots anyway, so will probably have to get some in Oldham.Buttonmoons wrote: »I really don't think many children would be in Keira's insane barmy genre
Well, crazy neighbour was arrested tonight after hitting one of the neighbour's children- in the face!:eek::eek::eek: The child is about 8, very cheeky but in no way at all does that give him the right! F***in idiot. The police were rang by his own next door neighbours and they were here within 5 mins! 2 vans and 2 cars. At least they turned up!
I really hope he gets locked up properly this time!
Mmm... im sat downstairs and I can hear DH playing with A over the monitor. Now shes wide awake and babbling away... What are they like? My OH fell down the stairs and bit his tongue when he was little. His was bad enough to go to hospital and have stitches. He doesn't remember it happening but apparently they did it without anaesthetic and his mum had to wait outside and could hear him screaming. He does have a scar but it has never bothered him.
:eek: I didn't think that they could stitch tongues!!
My MIL bit through her tongue when she was little and she still has a horrible flappy bit of skin in the middle where it didn't heal.
I am hoping that it will just go back together. It isn't bothering him at all but my stupid brain is convinced he has developed a lisp in the last week(I know that this is most likely me being stupid!)
JM - hope you can catch the teacher in the morning.
