I always make Aimee sit there pinching her nose with a tissue until it stops... Blowing it again makes the clot come out which will make it bleed again...
And when Hubby moans at me that his nose is bleeding I tell him he should stop picking it then I wouldn't have to knock his elbow quite so muchA very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Keira lived in babygro's until she was older cause I couldn't be bothered with the faff of layers and changing and undressing etc. I think your OH is being unreasonable Mel

he just said 'how do i stop my nose bleeding?' i said 'stop blowing your nose' ........he wasnt best pleased :rotfl: but seriously anyone any ideas?
L has them all of the time! But won't let me take her to the doctors because Nanny told her she needs to get her nose circumsised! :rotfl:
Apparently, a spoonful of peanut butter works! I've no idea where she got this idea from, but it appears to work?!?!?!
Mel Don't let him get you down. I was desperate to dress V in pretty dresses this summer, because L has her own style now  and dresses like a crazy person mostly.
I gave up on dresses unless we're going somewhere special. She keeps tripping over them! And when they're even smaller, they ride up and look all uncomfy, then when they're crawling they just get in the way. Leggings and trousers are the way to go.
You can put her in dresses from 3-5ish, before she gets an opinion of her own.
And no matter what you dress her in, she'll always look like a pretty little girl.
(and did you say something about you being too fat earlier - get a grip lady, or I will drive the 10 minutes to you and slap your face! You're beautiful, and every time i've seen you you've looked fab, the last time, far too fab for someone with a new baby).:beer:0 -
Sorry 3 but I'm laughing at you saying L dresses like a crazy person :rotfl:
I used to dress Keira in little dungarees all the time when she was little, even though Idris said I was making her look like a lesbian? Whatever, and now she has about 6 dungaree dresses, bahahaha, I went and bought myself some dungarees in a charity shop to annoy him, we were supposed to be going out to the pub across the road for food and I shot my chazbo dungers on and he was like OMG IM NOT GOING OUT WITH YOU! I was like cool beans, I didnt wanna go anyways!0 -

How did you come across the parents thread? Were you a lurker on the forums before you signed up? I remember when i first discovered the pregnancy thread when i was looking for baby related freebies, little did i know it would end up taking up so much of my life lol!!0 -
Random thought, don't think I updated after Rhys' latest kidney specialist appointment... Basic jist is that he's doing fab, there will be no more scans for 2-3 years () - though we think the general consultant up here, who loves to test for tests sake, is bound to cave and order one out of curiosity in the meantime
- just regular bloods tests every two months to monitor progress. He had a blood test whilst there (still got the bruise
) and we got the results in a letter when we got home today... We can reduce the one remaining kidney med down to 1ml a day (must be potent stuff
), and his levels of creatinine are now down to 68, best they've ever been. They were 420 at one point in hospital, 60-70 is normal apparently
