Also, Storm is a real name. My brother was nearly called Storm..

Is it? Felix is a real name, but Storm feels like Chardonnay and Abcde (Absidy) to me. Maybe I am just being a besom :)

But i have a cool baby names book (that i got with a magazine) and it had storm in. It also had all the the charactor names from many tv shows and movies, inc Lord of the Rings...

My brother escaped being 'Storm' he got called 'Ethan'

Felix is a cat name :p:rotfl:

And unless you were a horrible sadist you wouldn't call your kid Aragorn or Legolas either!

I used to teach an introductory class and one of my students was named Galadriel. She liked to be called Catherine.

Molly has just stolen a piece of my toast and is sitting nomming away at it shouting MMMMM MMMMMMM MMMMMMMM. I'm flattered, since it is covered in my home made jam, but she has pooped and smells terribly offensive but if I try to change her before it's finished she'll have a massive strop. My eyes are waterning from the stench :o

    Morning!

Redmel, glad you and hubby have started to resolve the problems.

For what it's worth, Sophie lives in her little t-shirt style onesies. She's only just getting big enough to put in 'proper' clothes. Also, cos I'm cheap and refuse to buy loads of diddy outfits :o. She does have one dress that fits, but it rides up. Really not sure what the heck to actually dress her in as it gets colder. She has loads of sleepsuits, but they won't be warm enough for daytime.

SS, Molly sounds totally adorable (even if her poo stinks)

    Michelle, yay for sleeping through!

I would like to rave about my new baby drug. Teething powders!

I never used them before and next door gave me some and they calmed Lily down in an instant and stopped the crying. So maybe it was her teeth? But still :j :j
Teething powders are great, they soothe upset tummies as well as sore gums :)

Bexta, sleepsuits with a vest underneath and a cardi over are plenty warm enough :)
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Krystal, thanks - she certainly has plenty of cardies. My lovely landlady dropped by a bag of clothes from her daughter - I don't think I'll need to buy Sophie any until she starts school, there was about 10 in various sizes!

Hi angelcake :D What's your dog called? I have a springer spaniel and would love another but she's so hard work.

How did you come across the parents thread? Were you a lurker on the forums before you signed up? I remember when i first discovered the pregnancy thread when i was looking for baby related freebies, little did i know it would end up taking up so much of my life lol!!

Yes..I was looking at the other bits and pieces.. signed up yesterday..just before the thread was closed!!...lol..yeah forums are quite time consuming.. I spend loads of time on the wedding ones as well..:)
  • That's fab Elle :)

Angelcake, I watched factor, I loved Storm and I think Simon was being a right !!!!! about him, I think he was right to make him do a different song but refusing to call him Storm when that is his legal name and has been for 21 years is crap of him, I am hoping Cheryl gets the overs and keeps him.

Well E has reverted back to his crap nights lol, he went to bed at 7pm like normal, but woke like every hour till 10 and had to keep giving his dummy back, then he wanted a bottle at half 11, and half 3, then got up at half 5, i'm totally wrecked lol

Yes I liked Storm as well..he made a valid point about Elton John`s name too, there are loads of singers that use a different name..agreed,,think Cheryl is a great mentor.. :)
