MCO Capital loan

Hi geomacl
I'm not prepared to communicate with MCO through email, but have seen the post. The only communication will be by post at Imperial House; I haven't sent it yet. Having already been a victim of ID Impersonation and credit card cloning, I will not communicate with any organization that I cannot verify through several sources.
When I first got involved with this I searched everywhere I could think of for details on MCO to see if they advertised anywhere other than their website, or if there were any articles about them in magazines, papers, forums, etc. Nothing came up, other than forum posts, which I thought was strange if the company was legitimate. So, the only reliable source is via Companies House, as MCO has a legal identity there. When I saw the posts about Intrum Justitia, I did some digging, and realized that they were another bona fide (not a very nice one if you're on the wrong side of them) source, so I contacted them.
This Niklas Furu's email address is at RTF Finance. Do a google search and they're an Australian company. But, the first result in Google is via the Balanceloan website, another trading arm of MCO. (Won't be looking at that website either.)
Anyone contacting MCO outside of their registered details is likely to suffer further.0 -
I recieved one of those letters today...the whole must pay back £513 crap.
im rather O.O at this lol, ive never had a loan in my life soo..its all about..what the hell do i do?!
ive read most of this thread, saying contact police and AF and what not..buut..where do i truly start?
im thinking of emailing MCO right this moment but im but sure what to say to them, ive typed this up so far
"Hey, im emailing to report a False Identity Loan Agreement which i recived by letter today.
I have not taken out any loans with HELPLOAN, and have no knowledge of this agreement.
The Reference on the letter is "19231-118659" and the loan amount was £513.00
There was no account details of who took this loan out on the letter, just details explaining how to pay it back.
Im not paying anything back towards this as i have NOT taken out this loan."
is this what i should be saying or what?
whats really gonna solve this issue and make it go away cause its bloody annoying!
oh and recently i was the victim of bank card fruad soo..yea, thought this crap was behind me.
any help would be very much appreciated.
never been in debt in my whole life, the thought of baliffs coming for something when im innocent is kinda..scary really*sorry for the long post*

Hi Millau,
Just got following e-mail from MCO:-
Good Afternoon
Thank you for your email which has been duly noted.
Please be advised that we have closed the account and MCO Capital Ltd will investigate this matter. You will not receive any further correspondence from us.
regards
Alessandro
.
I received the same email after telling them I had reported them to the police. Have had 2 letters one from MCO Capital and one from Helploan.
Could never get through to any of the phone numbers in the letters. The last letter actually gave me the account number and sort code of a HSBC bank account I should pay the money into. I'll get right on it.0 -
Tip of the iceberg! creditup.fi, arkivippi.fi, menolaina.fi, privateloan.fi, ge.leijonalaina.fi....the list is incredible.
They all have 1.50 per minute 'phone lines and are also active in Holland with spoedgeld.com and reddingsgeld.com. These are linked to yet another shell called DVB Investment Oy. Reddingsgeld and RTF finance are linked.
I think I have sussed the basis of the scam. They attract the most desperate people and get them to text a premium rate SMS for "instamt approval". They never get approved but the devils get 6 Euros every time.
Nice. And they are coming this way!0 -
Elaine1965 wrote: »I got the stock furu response and then went after Maki. See my earlier post #81. That response was from the equivalent of a @btinternet.com address after I mailed tuomo.maki -at- rtffinance.com. Really professional! It is compelling evidence that all the companies in Estonia and Finland are linked and behind MCO and this mess.
Our man Niklas Joakim Furu studied English Law at the University of Manchester. He may have an associate called Tom Hill. RTF finance is linked with easylaina.fi, statuslaina.fi, fastloan.fi, and idealaina.fi. All offer identical amounts with identical loan repayment periods and conditions. How many of these fronts are there?
Interpol?
You are a star investigator, Elaine. Undoubtedly you are spot on - this fraud is bigger than just the UK and the sooner our authorities recognise it, the better. Estonia seemingly have learned and have introduced new legislation to curtail this nonsense and only yesterday did the UK authorities waken up - sad!!! Keep up your fine and impressive investigations, Elaine0 -
just quoting this so it gets read..
Hi Kota,
There is always a chance that this is a legitimate (by the appalling standards of our regulatory system) company. For that reason, and to make sure that you don't get any more grief from them, you should probably do the following (this is my opinion, you'll get others;-)):
Contact ActionFraud on the number 0300 123 2040 ASAP, and give them the details (don't press option 1, wait to speak to somebody). They will log your call, and issue you with a Crime Reference Number.
When you have that, send a (recorded delivery, but bear in mind that an unattended mailing address which the London address might be, may not have somebody to sign for the letter, you may want to double up and send two copies, one recorded, and one with "proof of posting") copy of the helploan letter, with a letter from you to both their addresses (i.e. the one in London, at Imperial House, the other at the Warwick address. Check earlier in the thread to get these addresses), in which you state that "I have at no time contacted you prior to this communication, have not asked for nor received any funds from you, and reject any liability in this matter. The police have been notified, and a Crime Reference Number ********** obtained from ActionFraud on (appropriate date). "
Don't waste your time with threats or bluster, they don't care, all you are doing is making sure that legally you can be seen to have made every effort to mitigate their loss, and reject their assertion.
Then copy both the Helploan letter and your own written communication, and send it electronically to helploan at customerservice@helploan.co.uk making sure that you check "delivery status notification" and "return receipt" in your email client. Tell them that these are copies of written mail posted to them, and again ask for acknowledgement.
They can't send bailiffs without court action, and debt collectors have no right of entry. I have seen posts where these guys have sent "pre court assessment operatives" who try to bully their way in, but as long as you have the Crime Reference Number, that isn't going to happen, as you would get police support, and anybody stepping outside the boundaries (including turning up without an appointment) would be in trouble.
KEEP A RECORD OF ALL CORRESPONDENCE AND CALLS!! Names, dates where possible.
I know this can be a worry, no matter how honest you are, and it's easy to feel that you've been abandoned by everybody to a bunch of sharks. You've got some good friends here, and some good advice. By the time Oldblokes finished with them, they'll be the ones needing help;-)0 -
helploan.co.uk and reddingsgeld.com have the same website. Done in a hurry with no favicon.ico. The uk site even has Finnish keywords.
Obviously in Holland there is a rule about the premium rate texts being obvious to the site visitor. The UK site has "You need to send two SMS messages (£3 per message) in order have your loan approved,
total cost of £6." in the tiniest print at the bottom.
ICSTIS reading this??
Let us stop this licensed usuary a la Estonia asap!0 -
