Sally, call me crazy but is it going to be worth getting B all that way everyday? Wouldn't a private tutor be cheaper than all that petrol?
Possibly...I am currently investigating bursaries for the 2 independant schools. Its a flipping nightmare

what about home schooling, Sally? Until you can get her in the school you want.

I did think about that but as no-one has left the schools for 2 years basically due to total overscription in the area its very unlikely she will ever get a place! I don't think I could home school...we would fall out and she wouldn't listen to me!

The ones you mentioned last night aren't worth considering particularly with the drive each day still. Is Merley First an option? I don't know if it's a good school though. Have you considered a faith school such as St Marys with then progression to St Edwards? Obviously that caters to a specific sector of pupils and I don't know if a Roman Catholic or C of E school would be appropriate for you but they are supposed to be good schools in Poole.

  • I'm trying to make HM veggie cottage pie and I've discovered two things simultaneously. 1) The top oven needs cleaning. 2) This house doesn't have a working smoke alarm! Guess what I'll be buying tomorrow then. Thankfully, I already have oven cleaner.

    Hello all

I'm tired, grumpy, feel poorly and would like to go live in a cave.

But as there's no habital caves with wifi near here I shall stay where I am.

I need to go pick the tomatos/blackberries/beans and courgettes in but there's about 78 million spiders out there today so they'll have to wait until I'm feeling brave.

On the upside, there's a sneaky chance we could be debt free by the end of the month. :T
