I have a million things to do today and no idea where to start. Also have to go food shopping on my own which I hate because OH is meant to be playing cricket. Fingers crossed for rain here!

I use my slow cooker loads too, its great for soups stews anything really, coq au van, once i've got the fruit and veg i will be batch cooking some veg soup

Im thinking about doing the envelope system Suzy, money is really really tight and the cost of me getting DD to school everyday in petrol is going to be astronomical!

Sally, call me crazy but is it going to be worth getting B all that way everyday? Wouldn't a private tutor be cheaper than all that petrol?

Thanks Suz I`m gonna go to back to the start & see what i can do. I`ve just finished paying off 1 loan so should have a bit more money to do something with. I`m just debating whether to go & see my bank manager & see if i can increase my loan & get rid of my overdraft so that i can sort of start from scratch again.

Hugs Wannabe, I agree with what the others have said. I love the envelope system, I always go back to it when things have slipped. I actually have three different purses so I can keep track.

Suzy, I wouldn't bother with recipe books, I just chuck everything in!

Buffy, hugs, I hope you can get to a dentist soon. Would clove oil help?

I have pencil cases.

1. driving lessons
2. spending money
3. ebay float (not that that has been used yet!)

everything else is direct debits and standing orders.

Although some how I STILL ended up overdrawn!! sent the wrong standing order to the wrong account.

Erm....how long does it take to cook??

depending on how many temp settings you have, i'd have thought 6 hrs on high?
