They had the toy story lego and star wars lego, lego city, beyblades metal fusion, waybuloo, mickey mouse, peppa pig, sylvanian families stuff, iron man, RC Jeep thing and few hot wheels stuff.

Set a limit early on. our children are only allowed to ask santa for three things. anything else they receive is a surprise so that enables us to give them good value presents we know they will play with. Also if they ask for something we don't think they'll play with, or is too expensive we just say "i don't think santa will bring that" and they seem happy enough with that. (they are aged 9, 8 and 6)

Mine don't ask for anything. I have to suggest stuff I think they'd like. They are all quite content with a book or a DVD. It's me who's the psycho parent making sure they have the top toys every Christmas (and the credit card bill afterwards). This year the little fella liked Stinky when we were out so I got him that. The older too took a liking to Paper Jamz guitars so they have those. Everything else they get is a surprise from Santa and mainly things I have found on HUKD or on here to save a few quid. I really ought to stop the mad shopping because it's for my benefit. I had nowt as a kid so I like my boys to have everything. It's a shame about the online sale as I was getting things for my Grandma - she can't get out anymore but wanted to get the boys gifts they'd like. I'd have loved to see her face (and theirs) when they had fab gifts for as little money as possible.
  • Went to the Sainsburys at Bentley Bridge in Wolverhampton this afternoon and it was still quite busy. But I saw a pallet full of Buzz Lightyears and lots of Lego to still be had and zhu zhu pets as well. I managed to get my son a Bakugan battle pack with six in the pack and a Screature for £17.50 I think it was and a Dr Who sonic scerwdriver for £7.50 and a Nerf gun for 3.99. There was lots of Strawberry Shortcake dolls too and some Polly Pocket as well and remote controlled darleks for £9.99 and a lot of Fireman Sam items in stock.

mine all write a list for Santa but we have told them from when they are small, you write a list to give Santa some ideas - you get some things off the list and some surprizes, we have always found this works well.
