  • Does anybody know if there is any playmobil? Our nearest store is small so I'm just wondering if it is worth the trip.
    Thankyou

Just to say - just been to an empty store, not one of the big stores but a fairly large sainsbury's with one toy aisle - there was me and ONE other shopper - they had loads of toy story (about 50 of the big Buzz toys which I didn't buy, some lego and some other stuff (baby born, starwars lego, gator golf, board games) - I didn't go too mad but just thought MSE'sers would like to know that not every store is a scrum by any means!

ETA there was no playmobil in our store (was last year) but plenty of sylvanian families
  • Well I've managed to persuade my mum to take me.Wont be there until half 9 though so hope there's still some left!
  • My husband went to our local store and came back with hardly anything, 1 1/2 aisles of toys that weren't worth having!! Nothing like last year he said, but there seems to be stuff that they aren't putting out yet and after speaking with staff they said they are waiting for the go ahead to put it out throughout the day.

Hope you all manage to get what you want, especially those that like me stayed up till silly o'clock last night! xx
Hoping to save a little more money here and there, to spend on treats/educational items for children :j

Just got back from my local...very quiet, about 5 peopls loading trolly's. Only a few extra toys, no signs up and shelf tags mostly saying full price. But all went thr till half price.
I got few bits inc woody but only shelf empty was 'Jet pack' Buzz ... asked staff and said more toys in back then said noone in from toy dept and all toys are out. Mmm, wondering if they holding back until later, I REALLY want Buzz...it's the ONLY thing ds has asked for but it has to be 'Jet pack' version. Darn!
  • Got back about 20 minutes ago, got some Polly stuff, Pet shop, Buzz + Woody for a friend, Lego game, some puffles, a nerf gun + darts and you're all going to want to strangle me.... Lotso!
