Gutted the nearest Sainsburys is over 100 miles away.. Had over £300 worth of stuff in my basket at midnight now left with the mammoth task of finding it all cheap elsewhere. Glad people are getting what they wanted instore.. Wish I could jump in the car and go but hmm 5hr round trip plus petrol :-/ think I'll stay home!! :-( cheers sainsburys!

I'm just crossing fingers that some big cheese at sainsburys presses a magic button and makes it all half price on line at 9am, cos I have to go to work now

Well I have just got back from the Alder Road store in Poole and got everything that I wanted, I am really pleased! I got buzz, woody and jessie. Bakugan, lego board games, fireman sam stuff and spent £120.

Just a an update from hubbyy, in the deepest depths of Sainsburys!

It's all pants! Nothing much of what we wanted(Lego Star Wars, Star Wars AT AT, Toy Story Scalextric, Wheelybug, Cinderella Carriage, Handy Manny), just a lot of the same stuff. Seems like another store doing a con sale. I'm getting really cheesed off with this:mad:

He has managed to get a few little bits, small Lego Star Wars sets, bakugan and a few Star Wars figures.

Now he's cheesed & so am I. Back to the drawing board!

Has anyone seen any of these items at their local stores, or are we all suffering with the same things? (I know this is what someone people are after, so I am pleased for all of you, but sales always seem to be against me!)

Just been to my local Sainsburys and I can confirm that all toys there were half price. But even at 7am there were people filling their trolley's!

Just back from my local store and they have way more toys than usual, busy but not packed and staff were hovering hoping to grab a bargain themselves. Some people were leaving with two/three trolleys overflowing with toys.

been to the two we have here and was dissapointed in what they had there. got a few things i had put in my basket but no big things. have managed to get a few bits for my son which is good as only really sorted my daughter. but not a lot in this amazing toy sale!!

Must be store dependant as our store had loads of toy story at seven, most of it was gone by the time I left though.
