do they allow you in as a visitor on a day pass without spending anything?
i would like a look around and don't want to buy a membership if i don't like the place

Have no idea to all your questions but I'd really reccommend getting a costco card, it costs like £30 and if you feel like cancelling it within the year you get your money back! (at least thats what i was told when i signed up through work...)

Yeaah. Went for cheese yesterday, sat in demo back massager, (back was sore anyway) and came home £200 lighter including the back massager. Now that's moneysaving..............I don't think!

Still, I did a Google search when I came home and Costco was the best deal for it, + it's local if problems occur and their guarantee is second to none

Yes they will give you a pass to look round and see if you want to join. Then, if you decide it's for you, you have to sign up at the membership desk and go back in to make any purchases. It's best to take your ID docs (payslip & utility bill) with you when you go for a look, in case you want to join.

Often electricals - even the ones advertised in the voucher books with extra discount - can be found cheaper elsewhere (a quick search of the internet shows this) So check before you buy a digital camera or PC. But of course you may still think it's worth it because of the returns policy.

Now one thing I find is always cheap is good whisky!

I'm self employed - can I get a card for my business? If so, what would I need to take in as proof?

    Tips much appreciated!

    Hi,

Just want to let everyone that the best place I think to shop is Costco (https://www.costco.co.uk) They offer really cheap stuff and do offer discount prices via special offer vouchers but the main reason I shop there is because of there excellent CS (no problems on returns from when ever and what ever the condition !)

Yes I know you have to be a member and pay a small fee to be a member but it a perfect place to shop.

    :rotfl:

    Disagree, I'm afraid.
I used to think this myself, and was a member for many years, but I have found much, much better bargains out there if you hunt around properly using sites such as this, and bide your time for the bargains.
No worth the £30 per year IMO.

    Hertfordshire

Thanks Gaia! It sounds like it might be a bit awkward since I do most of my work from home, but should be able to get some stuff together that will be OK as proof of a business.
